It’s time to defund the UN
@chiproytx and I have a bill to do precisely that
Passing that bill wouldn’t be welcomed by the UN, but it would be good for America
My recommendation to my GOP colleagues: meet voters where they are.
Paint a clear picture of how we build on the great work of the past 20 months and finish the job.
Cut through the noise. Commit to solving the challenges facing the American people. And make clear what’s at stake: handing the keys back to the socialists would be fatal to the progress we’ve made.
James Talarico supported the Biden Border Crisis, attacked law enforcement during the BLM riots, and wants to end run oil and gas in Texas.
He is not moderate in the least.
His vote for six years in the Senate would be a disaster for Texas and the USA.
I stand proudly with @SelfForCongress. “His Truth is Marching On.”

NEW: Another insane one involving Fairfax County, VA. A Tunisian illegal alien w/ 30+ arrests and 90+ felony & misdemeanor charges throughout northern VA who routinely has his charges dropped & ICE detainers ignored is back in local custody again.
@NickMinock reports Fairfax DA Steve Descano botched a felony drug case against him last week that could have put him in prison for up to 40 years. Descano’s office failed to publish a witness list as required by a judge’s order, resulting in certain witnesses not being able to testify, and the case was dropped because of Descano’s error. Now he’s arrested again - this time in Arlington County, VA.
🚨Exclusive: ICE lodged a detainer against an illegal immigrant who has a lengthy criminal history in Virginia. He’s been arrested 30+ times for 90+ different felonies and misdemeanors. This is the man Steve Descano botched a prosecution on last week.

The more we can return power to people and local government and away from centralized authority… the better off we are. That requires focus.
Name the president? Easy. Name your district attorney? A member of the local school board? For most of us, those are tougher questions.
And as our new video explains, that’s a problem — because, on many of the issues we care about, they have more power than the White House.
Why Local Government Often Matters More than Washington
State and local government officials often have more influence over your life than Washington politicians — which is why it’s a problem that everyone ignores them.

An historic photograph -
On February 10, 1992, 79 year old Ben Hogan and 80 year old Byron Nelson met at Colonial Country Club for the final time. This was also the first time in 40 years they'd been photographed together.
David Woo of the Dallas Morning News was the photographer and as they left the photoshoot he took this spontaneous photo of Ben assisting Byron by taking his arm.
And we hope to keep it that way! #TX21
There’s so much German heritage here in Fredericksburg, it’s crazy. We even met a few people who still speak German, although they told us they are the last generation to do so.
It was really cool to see how much effort people here put into preserving their German heritage. The history of the town and how it was founded by German settlers is also really fascinating. We visited a museum where we learned all about it. 🇩🇪🇺🇸
Yet lefties don’t want us to Audit Austin…
Seems like a productive undertaking
The $1.8 million art piece at the Austin Airport ( "uplifted ground" ) might be demolished by Airport renovation
The artist's foundation is offering to move it at no cost, but city has not made a decision yet, there might be some FAA regulations about moving art purchased for the airport away from the airport
The temptation to report $6 Trillion in non-defense federal spending for a $60 billion commission… #FedUp

You guys would lose your minds if you saw how many Social Security payments are sent to foreign countries
BREAKING: The Social Security Administration confirms to @FoxNews that it has just undertaken its largest cleanup of Social Security Numbers in the agency's 91-year history, correcting nearly 15% of all U.S. citizen SSNs (roughly 50 million out of 330 million). The changes include:
- Adding 17 million dates of death to files that previously didn't have them w/ help from State Dept.
- With help from DHS, updating 25 million files that had missing citizenship information.
- Correcting an additional 8.5 million records with inaccurate citizenship data.
SSNs are referenced by agencies across the federal government and in states to validate identities and prevent improper payment of tax dollars.
