The forearm tattoo of Fergie's bodyguard Rusty in "The Town" (2010), dir. by Ben Affleck, features the outline of Massachusetts filled in with the colors of the Irish flag and Charlestown's zip code.
Ever had to use a new wallet or defi protocol, googled it, and worried about picking the wrong one from a scam ad?
I built search.defillama.com/ to solve this
It searches over >5k whitelisted domains manually curated by DefiLlama, it's <6kb and loads instantly

Hype tested $9 and bounced hard. So after a quick test of $2, I expect it to overtake bitcoin.

I know a large portion of my followers are crypto devs and I don't want any of my friends out here to get hurt, so I just want to put it out there that if you are ever offered an opportunity to work with warlockxyz or its founders grugcapital and @0xAlcibiades, you should run for the hills.
They're currently partnering with a guy who just engaged in targeted, botted harassment toward @jtriley2p, at the time one of their employees (and one of the kindest people and best engineers they could have possibly asked to work with) because he quit when they decided to work with a casino. Grug also allowed people in his private GC to flame him when he quit Warlock.
This harassment got to the point of using sockpuppets to troll him by making extremely serious, bullshit accusations and botting his replies to claim he had launched a memecoin, presumably so his followers could get scammed.
Of course, neither Grug nor his co-founder had anything to say about this - they decided to keep their heads down and continue working with this guy rather than publicly defend Riley.
Then Riley, disillusioned with companies in this industry and personally hurt, wanted to work on open source code for a while. He decided to make an OSS router for dexes called Lotus.
Note that this is:
1. essentially just a wrapper for other defi protocols
2. not an incredibly challenging task for an experienced engineer
What did Grug decide to do to his ex-employee who he'd abandoned after he received targeted harassment from one of grug's business partners?
He threatened to sue him, supposedly for taking their proprietary software.
I watched Riley build this thing from scratch -- it took him about a week. The only remotely challenging thing in the project, which one could even begin to claim involved any sort of special knowledge, was the encoding scheme, and even that is not particularly unique.
When he was designing it, I don't recall him mentioning how Warlock did things even once -- he brought up other encoding schemes he had seen in MEV bots operating in the wild that he had tried to reverse engineer (which he had been looking at for months prior to Warlock). This is not some unique problem only Warlock has solved - I think every decent evm engineer has looked into optimal encoding schemes at some point or another -- I have certainly spent a fair amount of time working on similar things.
These scumbags hurt someone I care very much about and now they want to go back for seconds, crushing his open source project out of what can only be described as pettiness.
I hope they don't get the opportunity to do that to anyone else who is just trying to build cool shit with good people, so I am posting this to let anyone who follows me know that you should avoid them like the plague.
May they and the cretins they associate with rot, inshallah 🙏
taking the lotus private since @grugcapital wants to sue me over "stealing warlock technology"
despite the fact that i started this AFTER warlock
despite the fact that the lotus is FASTER than warlock's
despite the fact that warlock modified MY AGPL-3 huff code and uses it as proprietary software
step off grug, my router's better than "yours"

Many moons ago, @grugcapital offered me a job
Excited to be in the space and a bit naive, I started a conversation with him about it.
But after going through all the NDAs and IP protection clauses in the contract, I decided to pass.
The man LARPs well, but is fucking retarded and is stupider than you
You’re better off just working for yourself

If you've made 7 to 8 figures from crypto, it's crucial to realize that this is more money than most people will earn in their entire lifetime. Don’t get swayed by crypto Twitter—there's a lot you can do with this amount. But remember, it can disappear just as quickly, or even faster, than it came. Don’t take it for granted.
