Have you played “giving directions”? Our sharks certainly had too much fun with it! With one person gives directions in Mandarin to another person closed eyes and walk, the game calls for listening comp. and teaches kids about trust. @shelynsharks @actfl @CLASS_K12
Our first graders did a fabulous job to present the Solar System they were learning. @shelynsharks @RowlandSchools #WeAreRUSD
Our TK students did a wonderful
job to perform their Spring singing! @shelynsharks #WeAreRUSD

When I see our 6th grade sharks from @TeamTamez class tried their best to speak Mandarin in complete a sentence, I know I why love to teach Mandarin Chinese to them so much! So, 「你要去哪裡？」（Where are you going?) @actfl @CLASS_K12 @CLTAtweets @shelynsharks #WeAreRUSD
Traditional “radish kneel” + vocabulary = maximum engagements and students’ participation! Most importantly, oral production in Mandarin Chinese! @shelynsharks @RowlandSchools #WeAreRUSD @actfl @CLASS_K12 @CABEBEBILINGUAL @NABEorg @CLTAtweets @CLTA_CA
So this morning I asked one our 6th grade students where is she going next in Mandarin Chinese after she dropped off her class attendance in the office, she replied me in fluent Mandarin Chinese that she is going back to her classroom. I love teaching! @actfl
@TeamTamez This is the reason why I love to teach our sharks Mandarin Chinese so much!
