I cannot envision what is more patriotic than fighting for the Constitutional rights of all teachers & students. As a proud Louisiana teacher, there is no cause more noble to me. nola.com/news/education/loui…
Invoking the words of MLK at the inauguration of a man who promised to implement policies destined to harm people is a disingenuous act of historical treachery.
May New Orleans never forget these beautiful souls #neworleansstrong #nolastrong
As the plaintiff representing teachers in Dier v. Landry et al. concerning the Ten Commandments law (HB 71), it must be noted that the Middle District of Louisiana confirmed that HB 71 is unconstitutional in the Roake case. Complying with this request violates the 1st Amendment.

Never forget that the attacks on public education, from suppressing teacher autonomy and bashing unions to passing anti-CRT/DEI/trans legislation and book bans, are designed to erode public education to pave the way for mass privatization.

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.
The great @msinger wrote an incredible biography of Nikola Jokic, and it deserves all this praise. Proud to know him!
One of the coolest parts of the process was getting a handful of book reviews back. Don’t take my word for it; take theirs. A huge thank you to @WindhorstESPN @jemelehill @ZachLowe_NBA @bomani_jones (and others) for your time.
