My YouTube viewing history on AI will give anyone whiplash. Lots of Zitron and Cal Newport (critical takes.) Lots of Nate B Jones and how-to videos.
I personally use coding agents and see the value in my own productivity. At the same time, the real cost of tokens is prohibitively expensive and the promises being made vs. results delivered are massively mismatched.
It's difficult to reconcile the two things.
I've never seen a technology with so much utility also appear to be a deadend business (unless something changes very soon.)
There's a lot to be hyped about, but it's still somehow overhyped.
Let me know your thoughts if you've personally managed to sort through this or are in the same position.

Genuinely incredible video from Above The Toon on TikTok. The sheer amount of tributes left are a stark reminder of just how important Kevin Keegan was to the region. Really hard not to get emotional seeing it.
The death of Keegan, followed by the exit of Eddie Howe, and the complete dismantling of the team that won us a cup makes it feel like several eras of Newcastle United are over at once.
I'm not optimistic for the season. Let's see if we can get some solid foundations.

Balogun will be missing for the Belgium game due to that nonsensical red card.
Belgium haven't been great, but the US missing their best player this tournament (IMHO) may cost them. I think it might be the end of the line.
