This city lives and dies with our Thunder. We support them on the court, as representatives of our city off the court, and as people that feel as familiar to us as our friends and neighbors. They’re our guys.
It’s been a thrill for all of us to have JDub back on the court this season. His terrible injury tonight came just a minute or so after he had us all out of our seats for one of his signature moments. We’ll now have to hang on to that moment for awhile.
Our whole city will have JDub in our thoughts and prayers as he deals with this adversity and as he makes his way through his recovery. We are also thinking of his teammates Cason Wallace and Jaylin Williams, who also left the game tonight with injuries.
I took these pictures tonight. We can’t wait till the day @jdubwttp levitates above the court again with ease. We’ll be there to cheer his return, however long it takes.

Here it is folks, my new logo! That touchdown celebration was a big part of my playing days, so it felt right to bring it back. From my time with @OU_Football and winning the @HeismanTrophy to my years with the @Lions, football has given me more great memories than I deserve. This represents a celebration of that journey and proud to share it with y’all. Same Billy, same memories, just a new look! What do y'all think?

Heading into retirement, Russell Westbrook’s on-court rivalry against Kevin Durant after he left the Thunder is what the NBA needs more of nowadays.
True rivalries are what makes sports great, and Westbrook’s competitiveness thrived in this environment.

Seven teams. Countless memories. One of the most electric players the game has ever seen.
Thanks for the memories, Russ. ❤️

Russell Westbrook signing his extension with the #Thunder a month to the day after Kevin Durant left remains one of the coolest things I covered. Russ got the reception he deserved.
