If you have had a tough week spare a thought for these chaps at Beaulieu home to AFEE who would evolve into JADTEU, no doubt an air despatcher still got blamed for the aircrew missing the DZ and had to recover the load. Bet the jeep still worked tho. @thinkdefence @WeHaveWaysPod
Anyone recognise this expert who of course mentioned Artillery and probably knows the serial numbers of the guns too! @bcerha1914 , well done, top job sir.
Marking 105 years of British Military Air Drops. Well done to all past and present Air Despatchers. @CO_RedBlack @jimmyharold85 @RLCMuseum @thinkdefence @UKArmyLogistics @TheRLCThinkers

Not everyday you get to share a conference room with some thing as fine as this! I suspect those from the Artillery will be able to place it! @bcerha1914 Top marks for those that can name the breed!
One for the next @britisharmytri training camp.

Former Army and RLC athlete has set herself one mammoth challenge, tho I suspect she is going to nail it, if you can support her endeavour please do! thesun.co.uk/news/11868019/t… @RHQ_The_RLC @RangeCoffee @britisharmytri @PoppyLegion l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https…
This weekends reading, one picture has already grabbed me though! Handlebar mounted MG, one way to social distance, clear the cycle lane or knock yourself off your own bike! Still want to give it a go even if horribly inaccurate. @RangeCoffee @thinkdefence @BritArmyCycling
Was hoping to not see this sight just quite so soon after leaving the Army but needs must! They even put labels on the items now so you know what each one is and does! That's progress I guess.
Still got it, age no barrier, absolutely brilliant and proud of these gentlemen and soldiers!!

On this day in 1957 55 Coy RASC set a new record for despatching 64,765lbs in a single day during the Malayan Emergency, some rigging and dropping! Loads included, CSups, rat catching cats, newspapers and beer. @jimmyharold85 @CO_RedBlack @29_RLC @104Bde @thinkdefence
This is what it looked like, thanks to @IWM. iwm.org.uk/collections/item/…
A happy birthday to the British Airborne Wicker Pannier, first dropped 8th Feb. OC 250 Coy M Packe is credited with the concept based on a wicker laundry basket in the Mess at Watchfield. @CO_RedBlack @jimmyharold85 @16AirAssltBde
The pannier was willow as metal and wood sheeting was denied for the greater war effort, yet airborne forces needed a standardised container for dropping. The first company to weave the baskets for the MOD is still weaving @WillowsWetlands
