ALT Panel 1: A sunrise is coming over a hill in the background, with several darkened residential buildings in the foreground. A mess of telephone & electrical wires runs along several poles between them, which also have street signs attached towards the bottom. The bright sunlight glistens on the wires and illuminates the edges of the buildings. Panel 2: Audrey's slightly weary-looking left eye opens, the pupil now reflecting the light of the sun coming through the window. Panel 3: Audrey's foot, dressed in a sock that looks like a tabby cat's foot, touches the floor gently, as they have now gotten up and are walking towards the bathroom on the other side from the bed in Val's studio apartment. Seemingly Val had never woken Audrey when they fell asleep on the beanbag. Panel 4: Audrey stands in the darkness of the bathroom, looking at the mirror, their features completely coated in darkness with only the slightest illumination from the entrance doorway.

ALT Panel 5: Audrey turns the lights on with a "click", triggering the flourescent hum of Val's lights and revealing their face, which has grown a small coating of facial hair, like a five-o-clock shadow. The eyeliner of their right eye is also smudged because they slept on that part of their face. Panel 6: Audrey's cat-socked foot now gently touching the floor as it walks the other way, back towards the bed and beanbag. Panel 7: Audrey withdraws several items from their red purse, all between the fingers in one hand. These items are: a eyeliner pen, a shaving razor, a green tube with a gold cap which is mascara, a black shaving cream packet, and a pink makeup removing wipe packet. Panel 8: Closeup of Audrey carefully and thoroughly shaving , having applied the foaming shaving dream to the bottom half of their face.

ALT Panel 9: Closeup of Audrey applying mascara to their eyelashes, squinting slightly. In their pupil, you can see a reflection of their silhouette in the mirror they're looking at, applying the mascara. Panel 10: Audrey look at themself in the mirror proudly, smiling, holding the sink by its sides and leaning forward on it, and says "THERE you are!" All that makeup stuff they were using is resting in the basin of the sink. Panel 11: Audrey tilts their head slightly, closes their eyes, smiling, and says "Geez. Feels like I'm trying to hide a zombie bite." Panel 12: Audrey quietly waltzes over back to the beanbag and bed, saying "A zombie virus that turns you into a man. What a terrifying concept." A thought bubble rises above them, featuring pink humanoids with the venus symbol running away from blue, sharp-teethed zombified humanoids with the mars symbol. One of the pink ones is being bitten by one of the blue ones and their arm has turned a blue that is spreading to their body.

ALT Panel 13: Val sleeps in her bed, illuminated by the morning light coming through her blinds, uncharacteristically peaceful. Some dust particles glisten in the beams of light. Panel 14: Audrey leans forward to look at Val and says "YOU'RE not bitten, Val. You have no idea how beautiful you are." Panel 15: Audrey raises their hands menacingly and opens their mouth wide with a zombie-like stare as the background turns crimson and their eye and teeth take on a yellow glow. Panel 16: Audrey curls up their fingers, withdraws their hands, and smiles, saying "naw just kiddin'" quietly to themself.

ALT Panel 1: It is now night time, and Audrey and Val are in the corner of Val's room, watching something on her monitor, which is turned towards them on her table. Val is laying on her uncovered mattress and Audrey is sitting on a beanbag chair next to the bed. They both have bags of chips. Audrey says "I guess ... I just don't really GET this movie so far." Panel 2: Val leans over and looks at him, concerned, asking "what's not to get?" Audrey begins, speaking: "Well, like ..." Panel 3: "... You said it was a HORROR MOVIE but it's really more like a DOCUMENTARY. Aren't there usually monsters or ghosts or something?" continues Audrey, digging his hand into the bag for a chip. Panel 4: Smile smiles an uncharacteristically happy smile as tiny camera icons float behind her and she says "AH, this is called 'FOUND FOOTAGE HORROR'."

ALT Panel 5: "You mean?? You FOUND this footage???" Audrey asks, shocked. "Uh, no. I specifically did not find it," replies Val. "Who found it then???" Audrey asks. "It's -- okay, lemme just explain," begins Val. Panel 6: Val goes on a massive rant in a single panel about found footage horror, mentioning movies like Ghostwatch, The Blair Witch Project, Lake Mungo, The Medium, Creep, The Taking of Deborah Logan, and Paranormal Activity, as well as internet projects like Marble Hornets and The Mandela Catalogue. Unfortunately, the text of this rant alone practically hits Twitters alt text character limit, and so I can't include it here in its entirety. Panel 7: Audrey's eyes sparkle as he looks at Val and replies "Wow! You're so smart, Val!" Panel 8: Audrey and Val both look forward at the screen, and Audrey asks: "But, um ... is something SCARY gonna happen?"

ALT Panel 9: Val smiles mischievously, glancing over at Audrey, and replies "Not for a WHILE, usually. But you know that it WILL, so you're anxious the whole time. THAT'S the fun part." Panel 10: Val's monitor, illuminating a stack of sticky notes, a cup with two bags of tea in it, and a pile of clothes in front of Val's bed, plays a scene from the film Noroi, in which the camera crew is speaking with a man in a tin foil coat and hat, saying "I believe we met on the talkshow the other night." Panel 11: Audrey turns his whole body turns Val, smiles, and says "I guess I still don't really get it quite YET." Panel 12: Val looks over at him from the bed, also smiling, as he continues: "But YOU like it. And since you like it, I wanna like it too."

ALT Panel 13: Val looks away but smiles contently and blushes. Panel 14: It is now several hours later, and Val is excitedly pointing at the screen, saying "O-oh, LOOK! If you look really closely in the reflection on that doorknob, there's --" Panel 15: Val looks over at Audrey, still pointing at the monitor, and sees that he has long fallen asleep on the been bag chair, peacefully resting his head on his hands. Panel 16: Val smiles, amused at her own folly, and says to herself, "Ahhh, I forgot." "Normal people have normal bedtimes," she says quietly.
