When I was a kid I always imagined being interviewed by a glossy women’s magazine. While it’s not quite for the reasons I dreamed of, I feel privileged to be able to have the opportunity to raise awareness & help other women struggling today.

Following the announcement of expanded eligibility for the Disabled Persons Railcard, we've seen a disturbing wave of disability hate directed at people with ADHD. This has been fuelled by some media outlets, who use clickbait headlines stirring up ableism to bring in more views.
Literally as soon as they mentioned the charities I knew there would be a wave of rage. Worthy winners, good game. #CelebrityTraitors
Patrick Stewart was one of my ‘national treasures so precious I’m as sad as if a family member died’ list. I was lucky enough to see him live on stage 15 years ago & this memory is even more special today. RIP.
Being a parent is good, but it really ramps up in reward when your child is old enough to enjoy the tale of when Brian Harvey ran himself over after eating too many jacket potatoes.
Great to get updates on my teenager, but it would be a minimum expectation that she’d not set herself on fire at school in lessons.
Another convo with my son for the records. After praising him for tidying up & jokingly saying ‘is there anything he can’t do?’, he looked us dead in the eyes & said ‘well I can’t return to the womb or grow a beard’. Never change boy.
I have two kids & Tui are happy to leave us to make our own way home in the dead of night. Asking them to perhaps arrange a taxi to get us home safely is too much. For a travel company.
@EDP24 passengers in Norwich scheduled to arrive at 22:50 likely to get home around 4am. No consideration for our safety once we arrive in Norwich from Stansted with vulnerable passengers & children.
I’m old enough to remember when repeated media coverage drove a young woman who had made a mistake to end her own life. Sparked a meaningful ‘be kind’ trend, which took less than ten years for us to forget.
Take your pick: Fat, shy, too thin, awkward, argumentative, didn’t smile enough, bad at sports (excellent at hitting things hard though).
This is just the people we know about. The ones who get told they aren’t ’bad enough’ to meet the diagnosis criteria probably doubles this.
Louder for those at the back, anorexia has the highest mortality rate of ANY mental health disorder.
Literally no one on benefits can afford a private diagnosis chum. Nor does anyone with just ADHD get a car or I’d be driving around in one right now. People understand mobility vehicles are still paid for… right?

Yep, and if you pay privately for an expert to say it's ADHD even though two meticulous school reviews saw no traits, you get all the benefits and the car. Fancy paying to falsify ADHD in a child? That is child abuse.
