Thank you to our amazing #OHDSI2025 volunteers for all their assistance at the global symposium. As @cindykchen says, they are "in our showgirl era." 😄 #JoinTheJourney
I'm leaving this app! Clearing out my data very soon but if you want to find me on another text app, I'm cindykchen on blue sky 💕 see you all there.
A return from my bird app hiatus, just to retweet this photo but it's because I think it's funny how TINY I look 😭
Great start to our #OHDSI2024 Collaborator Showcase with 8 great lightning talks! Thanks to all of our community members who shared their exciting research! #JoinTheJourney
No but the other days I wrote myself a "fill in the blank" for when my neural net finishes running

Honestly THIS.

1. Don't read any personal statements before you write the first draft. It is like watching a movie before reading the novel. You will be wrecking your original ideas. It will act as a guardrail to your flow of thought.
wearing my patagonia for the first time since rotations and in my pockets I found:
- 4 used N95s (ew)
- 1 granola bar wrapper
- 3 candy wrappers
- 2 pens
- a HPI/presentation template notes sheet
🙃i really jammed everything in my pockets when i was rotating

So we’re clear:
The Supreme Court ended affirmative action yesterday by saying you CAN’T discriminate by helping a minority group, then turned around today and said you CAN discriminate by hurting them.
So... Am I the only med student who genuinely enjoyed going to lecture 💀

as someone who will most likely not do surgery--I had SUCH a fun time after i got comfortable in the OR.
it's a little sad to think I'll probably never do that again, but that just further supports the idea that being in med school is such a cool experience
last week my surgery attending asked me what specialty i want to go into and i briefly threw out peds and she was like "you should consider doing a bit of research so you can be competitive for peds"
Little does she know I'm about to leave clinical year to do a whole PhD 😅
As someone who declared herself allergic to the OR, I had a really good day in the OR today 👀. I finally get why people become surgeons 🤣
