Generative UI is cool, but I’d first ask where users will do their work. If it’s inside their agent, making your UI work there seems more valuable than generating new screens inside your app.

I used to love Football Manager, but lately I've felt more frustrated with it. So I started building a little football management game in the browser. Very early, but I'm curious: if you could fix one thing about FM, what would it be?

5/ If you’ve worked on onboarding for early-stage apps, I’d love your advice: What change gave you the biggest lift in activation?

4/ What I’m aiming to improve next: - install → sign-up conversion - first-session activation - week-1 retention I’ll share updated numbers once this is live. If you want to try Odie out, check odieapp.com

3/ So instead of adding new features, I’m rebuilding onboarding to focus on seeing it in action first. New onboarding flow: - Record a note first - Show key benefits while processing - Ask intended use case + preferred output format - Show structured note with auto-tags

2/ That tells me one thing: new users aren’t getting to value fast enough. Odie is simple -> Speak a thought, get clean structured text, and use it later. If that isn’t obvious in minute one, people bounce.

1/ Build in public update on Odie. The app has been live for a couple of months, but usage hasn’t turned into retention yet. Last 14 days: - 17 installs, 4 people recorded at least one note - Install → first note conversion: 23.53% - DAU: 7-day avg 0.14 - WAU: 90-day avg 0.50

Nice! Working on odieapp.com - turn your voice notes into structured text

Odie v. 1.0.3 is out and it's one of the biggest updates yet. It includes: 1. Append to a voice note 2. Copy a single note as markdown 3. Transform an existing note with AI Very excited about this update 🥳

Odieapp.com - turn your voice notes into usable text. Go on walks, ramble and Odie will capture it and turn it into structured text

Nice! Good idea, I’ve never managed to get this right when using video models but hadn’t thought of building a tool for it smh

I haven’t tried midjourney but how do you get rid of backgrounds in the animation to use in app?

With coding agents, everything should be in a repo. Added a /marketing folder inside Odie and have Codex update it, use it and reference it. New feature? Update my mkt docs with the correct positioning -> then update my landing page based on the positioning. Virtuous cycle

I keep on being shocked at how much one can ship now with AI, it's unreal

V interesting read. In this context, it's important to not fall into tribalism. Don't pick a side, don't have emotional reactions to world events and practice compassionate skepticism. In a volatile world, propaganda spreads and people get scared. It's our duty to be calm.

Trying out this vibe marketing concept. My marketing context lives in the repo. When I ship a feature, I just reference the feature and regenerate copy with Codex. Product updates → feed positioning → update landing page. Pretty cool tbh

Has the Uneed community gained traction? I’d love to move there, but it seemed focused on getting upvoted
