Any media narrative that does not acknowledge the occupation and the siege as the root cause of all of this is insidious and inaccurate.

467 days or 672,480 minutes since we filed for a union election and still no hearing date set. When will the @NLRB @NLRBGC do its job?

Drug decrim means people who use drugs will never go to jail just for using/possessing drugs. 10 years ago this month, I was a full-time paramedic student on the dean’s list, working at Domino’s Pizza, earning income and military education benefits. I was addicted to heroin.🧵

You’re about to witness how quickly western governments can pivot from promoting the right of a people to self-defense and resisting their occupation in the name of freedom to “we call on both sides to refrain from violence so that they can live in safety and security” #Jerusalem

Read this New York Times article. Ask yourself why editors decided that it should be news. Ask yourself who might have pitched the article to them. Ask how it was determined who would get interviewed, and how it was decided that the root causes of violence would not be mentioned.
THREAD. The New York Times has written another story about crime in NYC that does not once mention the concepts of poverty, inequality, medical care, housing, education, or availability of guns. It’s a remarkable pattern of copaganda. I try to explain more about it below.
