One year of ZZZ. Zenless Zone Zero has literally saved my life. I was at my lowest mental last November, and returning to New Eridu was the medicine I desperately needed. I've been enjoying the game so much it became my everyday ritual despite it being a requirement for daily login bonuses. I am very much impressed by the quality of a (technically) free game and the media surrounding it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone at Hoyoverse for making this game so special to me. I've been somewhat passive in the community this year (aside from occasionally ruining Pop Eridu with my random suggestions). What's next for me is trying to engage more, maybe finding my own way to give back with the skills I have. When you know where to look, this community is equally wholesome and deranged just enough for me to enjoy it both ways. I've steered clear of endgame because I was afraid it will kick my ass with my subpar skills, but it took just a short while to learn the ropes and get satisfying teams and scores. Still nothing to brag about, but I can at least get the polys 🫡 As a 9-6 working guy, it is hard for me to fully submerge myself in the inner workings of the combat system, so I essentially make do. Fun fact: I am actually a Day 1 player, but dropped it somewhere around Miyabi's banner because I didn't understand the gacha at all. Thank you, past me, for lending me my wife Miyabi.
