A Work in Progress by @Jarrett_Lerner is a book you have to get. He uses prose, verse, and illustration to tell his very personal story of a boy struggling with body image in middle school. It's a story we don't hear enough told by someone we can't get enough of. @SimonKIDS

With all the book challenges and bans happening around the country, just wanted to send a reminder that teens ANYWHERE in the US can apply for a digital Brooklyn library card, which will give them access to the full digital Brooklyn library catalog 🙏🏾

There were a lot of great speeches across FL today- Hillsborough, Marion, Brevard, & comments by Freedom to Read advocates in Volusia.
The Boards are chilling speech because they are afraid and confused. It’s not a hoax.
And Brevard put their interim Supt on admin leave.

- NMGC & Latinax Organizations
- Jewish Studies courses
- Gender Studies courses
- Centers & Programs for Black Students

It is pertinent that we stand up against this unconstitutional bill by using our voices as one to stand up for individual rights. RT for Awareness ♥️

Teachers don't leave because it's hard. Teachers are some of the hardest working professionals I know. They leave because the amount of work no longer is comparable to pay, respect, support, and value that they deserve for the workload.
