Great first day in a wild year! Proud of the work our students did today to make this day great! #SMMHSSoars

Having a great time on our walking tour with our exchange students from our sister city, Hamm, Germany. Loved meeting the mayor and learning about Chattanooga. #SMMHSSoars #HCS_SocStudies

Great thought was put into the presentations from freshman contemporary issues classes where groups were tasked with building a better UN. #SMMHSsoars #HCS_SocStudies

So grateful to be part of such an amazing school that offers excellence in so many different areas, and very proud to coach the county champion lady eagles middle school track and field team. #SMMHSsoars

Seniors busy at work before the midterms creating their own policial parties and figuring out how to get the vote out. #smmhssoars #hcdess

Recharged my batteries in the smokies and am ready for students tomorow!

Thank you @TwebbSMfootball (and @BergrenMaureen) for the awesome idea of using the scrolling ticker tape on the ActivBoard for our clear learning targets! Love our learning community! #SMMHSsoars #HCDESS

There is no better way to charge a person's batteries than spending quality time with people you love.

My wife set me up with all my first day needs, as usual. #hcsday1
