Finished reading The Copywriter's Handbook this morning, and one concept struck me as particularly relevant to VC pitches... the secondary promise. /1
When entrepreneurs pitch, they need to dazzle with a big promise of disruption and 10x+ returns but should not neglect secondary promises. If the VC/prospect is totally skeptical of the big promise, he or she should be able to invest/buy on the secondary promise(s) alone. /3
