New York City can no longer be the playground of rootless, childless, Midwestern shitlib transplants. In the nearly eleven years I've lived here, nothing has disturbed me more than watching barely human twinks from Ohio and Missouri move to NYC, and immediately treat native NYers like animals in need of herding and "education" in the allegedly "sweet science of Marxism." White leftists are far and away MORE racist than ANY conservative. That's been made OBJECTIVELY clear to me, ESPECIALLY white leftist women. They have eagerly engaged in open anarcho-tyranny against law-abiding citizens, and endorse violence against federal agents. They'll hit YOU with 20mph Nazi speed limits and 24/7 speed cameras near schools so they can brag to their lobbyists and fellow travelers within the politburo about how great and righteous people they are. Meanwhile, the Train Operator driving home from work has to spend every moment hoping and praying he doesn't get dinged for $50 for going normal speed in a school zone.... ...at MIDNIGHT. IN THE SUMMER. NYC needs rescuing.
I am incredibly excited to watch the process by which New York City begins reclaiming Trump as a native son.

Bike lanes sound great until you realize that the urbanists behind it are aspirational anti-car ideologues who want to eliminate all car lanes out of spite. They come up with silly derogatory names like “car brain” without questioning why one might need a car and dehumanize drivers as if a cyclist is somehow contributing more to society when the reality is that the ones who use it the most are deliveristas for a very small handful of private corporations that have monopolized the industry.
The bike lane people have woken the sleeping giant: the 99% of people who are inconvenienced by them. Bike lanes are an idea born of Woke Era nonsense and anti-car hysteria. People who think they are eco-friendly are wrong. The congestion and longer drive times negate the carbon offset of the 1% of commutes that convert to bikes. The safety argument falls apart when you learn the bike lane lobby doesn’t support the single action you can take to make riding a bike safer: wearing a helmet. (They oppose helmet mandates because they lower overall bike ridership, which lowers the bike lobby’s political clout.) Even if this aldermanic challenger running on an anti bike lane platform loses, we have still seen the peak of the bike lane nonsense. They are becoming too hot of a potato for the average politician to stick their neck out for. We’re winning. No more tyranny of the minority.

Not a peep from any of the bike bros or @TransAlt about DOT allowing Waymo to dump robotaxis on the streets of NYC. Goes to show you that the lobbyists are not against all cars - just ones that you and I own. Robotaxis in NYC are a monumentally stupid idea.
We’re a tech-friendly administration and we’re always looking for innovative ways to SAFELY move our city forward. NYC is proud to welcome @Waymo to test their self-driving vehicle technology in Manhattan and Brooklyn with a trained AV-specialist behind the wheel at all times. @NYC_DOT and Waymo will work together to prioritize New Yorkers' safety on this pilot. nyc.gov/mayors-office/news/2…

Transit lobbyists like Sam confuse MTA's grossly out of scale subway maps with reality. Many parts of NYC are far from the touted 24 subway lines. Riders don't feel safe either - just recently a dead body was r*ped and a person killed after being set on fire.
gated community is when there are over two dozen different train lines that offer direct access to an area

Real talk… every transit agency in America should add RGBs to their trains, underglow to busses and multicolor LEDs in their tunnels. Would 10x the perceived value of public transit overnight.
the perceived economic value of adding RGBs to something never ceases to amaze me

I witnessed entire American towns economically destroyed over decades because they couldn't compete with child labor and dollar wages. My empathy meter is negative.

I don’t condone driving in the bike lane, but this video perfectly captures the problem with the bike lobby’s narrative. They say bike lane increases road capacity. That’s only true if there’s overwhelming demand for bicycling. Well look, the street lost a car lane, the car lane remaining is at capacity meanwhile the bike lane is effectively empty. From a utilitarian standpoint the bike lane should see as much demand as the car lane it is replacing—that’s almost never the case! We are choking our cities, making urban life more burdensome not less. If you want to decongest or move more people, build transit not bike lanes.
Look at those angry and aggressive cyclists.

Me: maybe I won’t take my car to Manhattan today to Mayor Adams’s state of the city address The MTA: ok your trip will cost $14 and take 3 hours each way.

Meet the one-percenters. They look exactly like I imagined - tone deaf progressive Democrats who are mostly affluent whites celebrating that hardworking working/middle class will have to pay a hefty tax to redline Manhattan.
I stand with FDNY. This is EXACTLY what should happen. Since these unelected, ridiculous one-percenters got their victory, let them put out their own fires. THROUGHOUT the "Congestion Relief Zone." Let @TransAlt, @RidersAlliance and @StreetsPAC answer sick customer calls for EMS in Lower Manhattan subway stations THEMSELVES. They want this magical, instant utopia of empty streets for police cruisers and fire trucks to go by unencumbered? LET THEM DRIVE THOSE AMBULANCES AND POLICE CRUISERS THEMSELVES.

charge private cars $2 and charge uber/lyft $9 instead that’s how the mta would fix its budget in like 7 weeks

If the goal of #congestionpricingtax is to reduce congestion & encourage people to use mass transit then why are passengers of FHV pay $1.50/ride? Why not charge them more than what it cost to ride public transit so they are discouraged to order an #Uber? 🤔 #followthemoney

In reality. Dumb ass bikers forced the community to do something because they kept riding bikes on a literal highway with cars going 50+ mph, so they did the bare minimum because they have brains and know nobody should be doing that to begin with.

In the event that this unconstitutional taxation scheme to prop up the failing MTA and corrupt MTA is temporarily allowed to go into effect, I encourage every business to include a line item "congestion taxation recovery surcharge" on every bill to their customers. cc @GovKathyHochul

This Lander fella really loves his chauffeur-driven vehicle with police detail. He sees himself as too important to take mass transit that he insists everyone else should. Too many believe that policies should only apply to everyone else. So hypocritical. Gross.
Here’s man of the people ⁦@bradlander⁩ after his stint on the @uaw picket line at The Strand Bookstore (owned by Democrat U.S. Senator Ron Wyden’s wife, a prodigious Dem donor) getting into the back of a car and accompanied by his NYPD security detail.

Excited to see Burgum land a cabinet role in the new administration. He's a YIMBY abundance guy: "We invented zoning. And zoning came during the Industrial Revolution when there was a lot of air pollution. People said, "Hey, we're going to have the factories here and the people here, and we got to keep them separate." And then we went even further and said, "Well, here's the kind of homes that can be and retails there." It was a one dimensional map, and you draw it out and say, everyone, all these four things have got to be separate. And yes, that was great for people that built roads, and was great for the car companies. And then we built cities all over America that are designed for automobiles and not designed for people. And then if you take a look at your cost, it's a linear feed of sewer and water and sidewalk and roads. And then when you get more of that, you need to have more fire stations. Low income. If you get if you have a neighborhood that's all houses, if you want to have a coffee shop that looks like a house, you should be all of a coffee shop. Because then people say, "When I leave my starter home, I want to move to a new home. It's got to have three cars, three car garage wise, have three car garage," because the mom, the dad and the kids all got a car to be able to drive to school, drive to church, drive to a restaurant, drive to a grocery store. Of course, you know that because you can't walk to anything. And then people will go on a vacation, and they'll say, "Wow, that was the most amazing vacation I ever had." Why? Well, because they went to some place where they could walk, and everything was right there. Well, you can actually have that in our own states. You just have to design and you haven't sent you know, there's places in Northern Europe that have snow where people bike all winter long. You can't hardly you can find a place like that in the US, because we don't put the investment into building the infrastructure for multimodal transportation. So I think one of the things that that we have to look at as country, our housing costs are high in part because of the way that we've designed our cities. Check out form-based code. There's some really interesting things that are there. And you guys talked about beginning the granny flats and other stuff, but part of is we've got to get the coffee shop, the barber shop and law firms back into residential neighborhoods in ways that can help lower the cost and create services where you don't need a car for everything."

People who keep our city functioning will leave the city once Congestion Pricing Tax is implemented. 25 police officers have left my local precinct (for various reasons) since 2022. But more will leave the force because this tax will be unaffordable for them.
I met up w/ an athletic director at a public high school in the congestion zone. I asked about one of their coaches I've known for a long time. "Oh, he left this year because he was worried about paying the congestion pricing." School lost a solid teacher and 2-sport coach.
