The fact that the official LenaMiu account had to say this, in two languages no less, should be second-hand embarrassment for everyone insulting Lena’s co-star.
Lena has spent 11 years building a career in an industry difficult enough to survive in. Long before LenaMiu, she had other co-stars, built chemistry, played romance and filmed intimate scenes. That has always been part of being an actress.
Being paired with Miu does not suddenly put a ceiling over what Lena is allowed to portray. She will work with other actors, kiss other co-stars and tell other love stories. If she makes you believe them, that is precisely what we should want from her.
You cannot ask for bigger roles and more opportunities for Lena, then attack the people she works with when those opportunities arrive. Especially when Lena herself has always treated her colleagues with respect.
Love LenaMiu. I certainly do. But supporting Lena has to extend beyond the boundaries of a pairing we love.
Otherwise, what you call support starts looking remarkably like sabotage.
