I’m still alive just not active because I can’t be for my own mental health.
On that note I got to meet @jpilbug and all I can say is I absolutely love this girl with everything I have. She is a true bright spot in my life. We plan for more meet ups in the future as well 💚💚

I watched my son die from rationing insulin 3 years ago. This should have been a hot topic 5+ years ago, not when there’s already been too many deaths from rationing insulin, or a “black market” to help keep struggling diabetics alive. No one should die bc of the cost of meds
He was only 20. He should be here. He had so much love and life and it was brutally taken from him. When does it end? When does the pain stop? All I want is my boy back, but that isn’t possible. Please, we need #Insulin4all so no parent has to live this hell 3/3
Allen was my everything. The meds that he needed to live, that everyone needs to live, cost him $3k+ a month. How is anyone supposed to survive? Greed killed my son as much as rationing insulin. No one else should die. No one else should suffer. We need #Insulin4all NOW 2/3
3 years ago today I lost this sweet boy. He rationed his insulin bc he was denied health insurance. His life was deemed forfeit by the govt sworn to take care of him. 3y&his death is nothing more than a talking point. When will things change? He was my life, not a statistic 1/3
It’ll be 3 years tomorrow that I lost Allen. This tattoo is 3 years overdue. I love it so much. Legend of Zelda was his favorite game. The doodles he did when he was 4-5yo. I’m sobbing y’all
Today is Rufus’s 16th birthday which means that 16 years ago today Allen was diagnosed with T1 Diabetes. It strikes me as ironic that Allen died days after his 13th diaversary from insulin rationing. It’s not fair. Nothing about this is fair. Life isn’t fair. 😔
