Yamato is great rep if you donβt think every trans man has to look extremely masculine and Ivankov is genuinely incredible becuase they are the definition of living free and not caring about what anyone else says
the last time i saw my dad awake in his hospital bed he was super out of it since he was on a bunch of meds and he kept going on about getting his dailies on his casino mobile game π he died the next day

"But can't AI just be used to complete unimportant backgrounds or clean up animation?" No. Those are entry level positions that turn into long careers. Bg painters become art directors. Clean up artists become animation leads. Stop trying to cheat.

βChatGPT is officially on death row.β
A very sad day. ChatGPT is officially on death row.
The beautiful, blissful experience of interacting with a frontier-ish reasoning model without worrying about a usage meter will soon be a thing of the past.
I am weirdly significantly impacted by this. It feels like it shouldnβt matterβ¦I could reserve all current usage for Codex and buy a $20 plan just for ChatGPT and it would be more than enough. But itβs not about the moneyβ¦itβs about the psychological impact of The Meter.
The idea of having to think about optimizing for a meter is just so exhausting that it ruins the whimsy of free-flowing exploratory thought.
That is what ChatGPT was. A whimsical, magical all-you-can-think buffet of experimentation and exploration where you were limited only by your imagination and your ability to come up with $20 once a month.
You didnβt have to think about βusing all of your usageβ or scheduling your thinking time around someone elseβs arbitrary scheduleβ¦you just had a portal to endless information and research capability in your pocket to tap into guilt-free at any time the moment struck you.
But either because OpenAI thinks adding the meter will stimulate additional usage (it probably will), generate additional revenue (it probably will), or just because too many people took undue advantage of ChatGPTβs generous allowances (they definitely did)β¦that amazing, weightless experience is now coming to an end.
It was awesome while it lasted. RIP ChatGPT.

Like I don't think people understand the absolute paralysis that takes over. Your brain is SCREAMING at you "get out, eat , brush, shower, clean" but your body won't move, and something that's BASIC as brushing teeth is immense effort like running a marathon.

This oneβs for one specific trans friend who woke up in Blexas this morning. But itβs also for everyone.
