They break things with successive releases. immersive #Webxr works...then previously working fullVR won't. @boztank is there no QC at @MetaVR_Official ? - why is the browser auto updating when both system & critical updates are turned off? Meta Quest Browser team: in immersive WebXR can a page get the composited view (passthrough camera + its graphics) Can web pages get that composite as one stream so no GPU punishment in #WebXR Hard to keep up with who's who @MetaVR_Official. Can you help @MetaVRDevs , @Heaney555 @Dilmerv

The bigger goal is a Music driven syllabus dispenser where virtual Vinyl spins a mix of sensory audio (psychology / ballistics forensics)... Spatial Video and gaussian splats (Ptsd / autism immmersion therapy)... computational music... XR performance art.. it's all in my new-media crate. Yesterday I said goodbye to a friend...as DJs do, with a farewell track. Later that evening it got me thinking of life...death...#Fomo. There's two kinds of people who experience it, imo. Ones driven by what the future holds...and the other; "consumerism" fuelled Fomo. I knew him [DJSpindian05] a short while but boy was he a gem of a person. He was fascinated when I talked VR..the future of music creation... We were to tag team; me on virtual vinyl, he on real wheels of steel... This is what drives my FOMO. We're on the cusp of an explosion of augmented human intelligence...the #singularity ... Mind melding with machines and yet I look around and see apathy. Understandable, with large swathes of the population motivated by vanilla consumerism, but what about those who "can" or are "entrusted" to bring about change -- Professors, Deans...Scientists (I've recently seen many succumb to politics and religion powered degeneration)... ...how do they sleep at night, I wonder, knowing they wilfully deny those less fortunate, the experiences of the future; choosing to squander it on 3 day workdays peppered with fear of missing out on holidays and buffets and golf weekends...this is the worst kind of Fomo there is. There's so many on a short lease on life who have genuine FOMO...and it's not a sin, if they leverage inherent creativity or are in a position to enable it.✊ #foodforthought #meaningOfLife #restinpeace 🕊️

my thoughts to @UN / @antonioguterres -- “I'd propose a much bigger role for the UN: Data Sanctity-The vetting of data-sets that LLMs (today's popular incarnation of A.I.) train on. For every entity announcing thier own 'indegenious LLM model' There's a high risk of #LLMpoisoning at model inception by malicious actors; from Govts. to Religion biased entities. That is even more severe a threat than lack of access. How this applies to the call: AI today is open-weighted and optimized and compute is getting cost-effective [edge servers like Nvidia Spark will get cheaper] making it affordable for all to access AI as well as on edge devices like phones. What is at a premium is data sanctity, imho and the UN needs to focus on it.” #LLMDataSanctity #ArtificialIntelligence
