Another Weevil off the board headed to another D1. From walk-on, to pitcher of the year, to Division 1 scholarship congrats to @Zacharybrooks66 on his commitment to Georgia Southern. Proud of this guy

Our guys spent the morning giving back to the community by assisting the Enterprise Family YMCA with their annual fall festival and 5k.

First Weevil of many from this sophomore class off the board. Mid/upper 90s arm that has an incredibly high ceiling. Congrats @GabeJon97235312

4yr schools looking for a competitive leader behind the plate here's your guy. Shut down the run game and hit .390 as a freshmen. The single in this video is after he caught 11inns. He also had a big game tying 3run HR in the game before. Kids a winner and will out work anyone
The Boll Weevils just finished up a busy road trip with games at UAB Thursday, practice at the University of New Orleans Saturday, and games at LSU Sunday. They were able to squeeze in some college football and fishing while at their cabins on Delacroix Island.
@WeevilAthletics
Im willing to bet there will be 1 more job posting at Florida State University tomorrow than there is today..........

Skip Johnson has talked a lot about "the dugout" throughout Oklahoma's run, the other guys who haven't seen the field as much as they did during the regular season still supporting their teammates
I asked Skip about that today:
"It's uncommon at every level. I mean, from Little League all the way up. When their kid's not playing, all they hear is the negative energy. These guys really have been selfless."
"Man, if you can teach those young men to be selfless in a selfish world, is really big to me. It's really big to me. When nobody cares who gets the credit, you can do amazing things. It's pretty amazing."

Congrats Jabe!! Weevil Family is proud of you and how you have represented JUCO players!!
Good luck in Omaha, we are cheering loud!!
No matter the path, the dream can be achieved!
@acccathletics @coachbfric
I think it needs to be heard that(according to sources) West Virginia baseball cut one of their best pitchers early in the season because he was bashing the coaching staff(not bought in). Now they are headed to Omaha to play in the CWS.
