The guys have been elite each season this year 💪 Out of 364 IHSAA member schools, Ames is the only program to qualify for the 16-team football playoffs and state tournaments in boys basketball, boys soccer, and baseball. #AChampionshipTradition

What an amazing ride coaching both boys for so many years! Lots of ups, a few downs, somedays tough not being able to just be Dad and enjoy the moment. Knowing this great game is paying for their college education definitely makes it all worth it! Great work boys!

2 amazing players who dominated all year; leading Class 5A and all classes in different categories. Amazing career; what a combo these two were week in and week out. Congrats on great careers guys!

Two of the very best players in the state. These 2 balled out every single week and led the state in many different areas. No all state for them, however, it is well deserved that everyone is able to see what they accomplished this year and throughout their careers..

Banquet last night officially ended my amazing run coaching my boys. I’m an incredibly lucky Dad to get to be part of Dodge and Dals careers. Both boys were incredible players but more importantly 2 of the best leaders I’ve ever coached. Wow I’m going to miss it. Thanks boys.
