Whether I agree with some, all, or none of someone’s opinions I respect those brave enough to engage in civil debate. Those people are heroes and should be revered and celebrated as such. I’m mortified by what happened today. Sickened. Tearful. Saddened. We all should feel sadness and the pain of what happened today to Charlie Kirk. He was a good man. A family man with kids who loved him. This is an incredibly sad day for America. You don’t have to agree with his political views to acknowledge that. This is a dark day. RIP Charlie.

We can debate policy all day, but this is the reality teachers live in: Every school has students who can’t go a single hour without derailing instruction, and they’re shielded from consequences at every turn. It’s unjust to those who came to learn. Everyone knows it, but if you say it out loud, you’re the problem.

Paul Maurice was asked this morning how difficult it is to make every guy in the dressing room feel like they’re an important part of the team. Fantastic question. Response was better.

My daughter is a senior in high school. There are so many activities to celebrate at the end of the year. From prom to senior awards to graduation, I cannot believe we deprived healthy young adults these pivotal milestones during covid. Absolutely heartbreaking. I remember adults who celerated all these events during their youth completely discounted their importance for this generation. Just reprehensible.

When one student disrupts the entire class daily, it’s not just a discipline issue, it’s a theft of education from the other 25 kids. Inclusion shouldn’t mean sacrificing everyone’s learning.

To anyone saying ‘Well we did the best we could with the information we had at the time!’ No. We absolutely did not. The information we had at the time was clear: Lockdowns are destructive. Schools are safe. School closures harm kids. Babies need to see faces. Masks don’t work. Silent lunches are cruel. Virtual learning is a sham. Social distancing is utter nonsense. Isolating the elderly is inhumane. Mass testing fuels panic. Bars should not open before schools. Patients should not suffer alone. Government should not ban worship. Mandates destroy trust in public health. Closing gyms and binging Netflix isn’t healthy. Censorship is an abuse of power. Gathering and human connection are essential human rights. We knew. They knew. But anxious adults on a power trip decided to ignore all of it and irreparably harm us anyway. Never let them do it again.

The left is full of chatter about how they need their own, liberal version of Joe Rogan and the like. But that's the thing: The left used to have a liberal version of Joe Rogan. His name was Joe Rogan. He voted for Obama twice and endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2016. But because he's openminded, will talk to anyone, and doesn't mindlessly accept the latest propaganda, the left kicked him out. They censored his interview with Robert Malone and pressured Spotify to drop him. The left can't have their own version of Joe Rogan, because everything that makes Rogan special makes it impossible for him to be on the left.

CBS says we probably won't know the results of PA tonight and "delay does not mean anything nefarious is happening." Third world countries get their results on election night but PA can't figure it out and we're supposed to believe everything is fine...

To the people voting based on abortion, If Trump wins, you are not going to lose your rights because it’s up to the states. If Kamala wins, she can’t change anything because it’s up to the states. Hope this helps.

Here’s how we restore public trust in elections: 1. Single-day voting on Election Day, as a national holiday. 2. Paper ballots. 3. Government-issued ID required. This shouldn’t be controversial.

I have lived in a deep blue state my entire life. Most of the people I know and love are voting for Kamala Harris. I don’t think they’re stupid. Or selfish. Or deplorable. These are all kind, caring, intelligent, lovely people. I just think they’re wrong. And I think they’ve been misled. What disturbs me is that these people will reflexively think I’m stupid, selfish, and deplorable for voting against their beloved candidate. They will surely think I’ve ’drunk the kool-aid’ and ‘fallen into a cult’ because they simply cannot fathom how another decent and smart woman could come to such a radically different conclusion. It’s so disheartening. The so-called party of tolerance and inclusion holds exactly zero tolerance and inclusion for contrasting viewpoints that challenge their claimed moral superiority. None of us can see around corners. A vote was never meant to be seen as a moral absolute. I’m not sure who said this first but…my vote is a chess move, not a valentine. It’s a strategic play based on all the evidence I’ve seen. I’m voting to defend free speech, to protect women’s sports, to control our borders, to correct inflation, and to prevent inhumane and coercive mandates from ever being imposed on free Americans again. I’m voting for Trump. 🇺🇸

For all the young hockey players out there playing for tough or hard coaches… I played for a lot of hard coaches in my day where sometimes it wasn't easy, but this one piece of advice that my parents gave me really helped to put things into perspective allowing me to thrive in that environment: Listen to what they're saying…not how they're saying it.  Sometimes tough coaches will raise their voice. They'll get into you on a consistent basis.  They’ll push you more than you want to be pushed.  Listen to the message of what they're trying to teach you. They're just trying to make you better. I used that throughout my entire career and it really helped me to become the player that I wanted to be. It helped me to relish and thrive in hard environments.  Tough coaches push you outside of your comfort zone, which is where development lives. There will be times you don’t like it. But for the younger kids out there, if you can learn to love being pushed and you can have a perspective that the coach is just trying to make you better…it’ll put you on a path to succeed the higher the level you go.

This is the reality of youth baseball nationwide and it’s hard to watch. We must STOP pushing our kids to play kid pitch before they are ready. This isn’t fun for anybody This is the perfect example of why recreational youth baseball is dying. The design of the leagues is absolutely terrible! The answers to the problem are not difficult: - train your coaches - practice more than you play games - make less games in general - stop pushing kids to play at higher levels before they are ready This video is infuriating and this league needs help. – at Menlo Park, CA
This ain’t it, folks. I love baseball and have spent my life on a field and this is so hard to watch. We have to do better for our kids. Make it engaging, make it fun, keep them wanting to come back to the field every day. ⁦@CoachDavidKlein⁩

Just had out first Little League Coach Pitch practice of the season. Half of my kids couldnt hit the ball off the tee. None of them could catch a thrown ball. Opening day is next weekend. This gives us 2 practices before our first game! Rushing into the season like this is NOT FAIR to the kids. It is NOT setting them up for success. I understand the challenges of training coaches, but can we at least have some standards for the design of a season!? Kids need to practice for a few weeks MINIMUM before putting them into a competitive, gamelike situation. I reached out the league and suggested they push back opening day to give everyone more time to develop at practice, but not sure what'll happen. 100% of Northern California Little Leagues are starting their seasons at least 3 weeks too early. The best players in the world play 30+ games across 6 weeks before their first game... 6 year olds who cannot tie their shoes, should have more than 2 practices before their first game. Im trying to stay positive and help all I can, but the longer Im in the inside of Little League the more frustrated Im becoming. #BASEBALL

The boys finish the regular season with a 10-1 win at Northfield. Henry Schwartz and Andy Cay with hat tricks. With the win, we finish with an 11-6-3 record and unofficially the 4 seed for the upcoming playoffs #vthshockey
