Everyone can look confident and positive when things are going their way. Uncomfortable situations are where frustration and doubt show up, and how you handle them is what builds mental strength.
The response you build in moments of adversity is the response that shows up when the lights are brightest and the pressure is on.

When you feel stuck, overwhelmed, and notice doubt, frustration, and fear starting to poison your thinking, there is a question I want you to ask yourself:
โWhatโs the next best action I can take right now?โ
That question pulls you out of your head and back into the moment. And action is the key to stepping out of your Dead Zone.

The coach who demands the most from you sees the most in you. Every obstacle they leave in your path is a rep that builds your capability, and every hard moment they refuse to remove is a chance to find out what you are made of. Taking the struggle away would feel easier for everyone and leave you exactly where you started.
The standard they hold for you is proof they believe you can reach it.
