In a sport that I dearly love, but is slowly dying, this is one of the things that keeps it alive. Well, done to both programs ….proud to be a part of Mercyhurst prep football 🙏🏻
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Last nights Wilmington and Mercyhurst Prep game was memorable for many reasons but what stood out to me and others was the class and mutual respect between both teams. Many times, I saw exhausted players from both teams help each other up, pat each other on the back and even hug. That kind of sportsmanship between two great programs is rare in this day and age. Kudos to Coach Root and Coach Phillian. Their players actions reflect their coaches who are both very well respected.
