On a night Charlotte did plenty to win, it still has a ways to go, falling in OT at North Carolina. Saw a lot of what a Wes Miller-coached team *can* look like, even though he says they're 'nowhere close' to being ready for the opener. Wrapping things up from Chapel Hill👇

I know the Hornets haven’t played any finals contenders, but 3-1 without two starters is pretty dang good.

Wish things would’ve turned out differently for Mann in Charlotte.

That’s gotta be the last game of significance for Dave Doeren at State. Will probably get to finish out the year like Mack two years ago.

I don’t get why Doeren traded a 4th and 7 for a 3rd and 17 when Stanford has a crappy kicker and time is valuable. Instead, Stanford gets to kill some clock and go up by 10. And of course State had to burn a timeout with the clock stopped. Woof.

Thought that was the ball at first..

When’s the last time State passed on a fourth and 1?

Eric Collins just gave Les Robinson a shoutout! Didn’t catch the context. Do the Hawks have some #wolfblood on the roster? @giglio_OG

It is funny how South Carolina is represented on shirts featuring a song that famously celebrates North Carolina. @DHPIV

Town of Mooresville about the Spinners, essentially: “Forever Grateful, but….”

Trying to figure out what this means for the future of the team. The press release was super-vague.

The Spinners say they will look for a new home. While Moor Park has been under construction the last two seasons, they have played at Mooresville HS.

Made me realize I was at the final games for both Amato and Tom O’Brien before they were fired. Should I try to go to State-Carolina this year at Kenan?

Many calls to the OG Sports Phone remembering Chuck Amato. That'll be the main focus of today's show, but did want to highlight this OG Mailbag episode from November '24 where we discussed his iconic "Happy Thanksgiving" press conference. youtu.be/rbhK-hXX6zI?si=GYg4…
