FUJI STAKES G2 - I was on Ecoro Alba for it's amazing training sessions until I saw this stat: Since Jan 1st 2025, Gate 14 of Tokyo 1600m turf has a 1.6% winrate, just 1 of 63 😱

Fewer mares are being bred each year. But a small number of stallions are covering a larger proportion of those remaining mares. It is narrowing the gene pool ever further and reducing genetic diversity.

Every year you say the same thing and every year you look stupid. Last year another great example. We had Renegade who won the Arkansas Derby and was second in the Kentucky Derby. You’ll be wrong again, but so far, in October of their 2YO season, you look “so smart.” I sent this in a reply to hold back the Repole Renegades from attacking you. 😂

It's a shame to see industry leaders wither up and fall out of love with the game and it's a shame to see them blame it on horsemen who've done nothing wrong

Waiting respectfully for this genre of posting to go away
Another example of what I’m talking about with the new model releases These are all fine. They look nice. You could fool a lot of people with these But you’ve seen it all before. Nothing new is being created Where is the new AI art? Things that have never been seen before or even imagined? Art in the early 20th century was radical. You saw things you’d never seen before. It made people mad. The public mostly hated it. More than a century later, we still haven’t collectively reconciled ourselves to what it all meant. It is still not a “normal art form” We aren’t creating anything like this with AI. Maybe our imaginations are lacking. Maybe we just don’t know what to do with it yet. Maybe the models are already too sophisticated and beyond our ken. Who knows. But something’s missing. There’s just nothing “here” right now

Makes more sense than pokemon cards and nfts
At this point it makes little sense to race. Just breed to sell.

If getting to the summit is easy, then set your sights on the moon
I'm either going through some stages of grief or genuine existential dread. Taking a helicopter to the summit of Everest might get you to the top but it rather defeats the purpose. That's how I feel right now.

Laytown should definitely be streaming these races on Youtube

This is my least favorite way so far to show 6/1 At this point, I'd prefer Kentucky Downs raises the minimum win bet to $10 so we actually get a useful number

Tom Hashimoto, General Manager of the Japan Racing Association’s NY office, presenting ways to reinvigorate interest in racing through youth… “…racetracks must provide an environment that is always bright, fun, clean and comfortable. They must provide warm hospitality and a customer-first experience, while offering different attractions that appeal to a diverse range of customers.” #TJCRoundTable
