Today, I attended the Regional Flood and Coastal Committee meeting for the River Great Ouse. I offered a strong challenge to EA on the quality of St Neots telemetry, the efficacy of the flood warning system, and the fact that two sluice gates close to St Ives are not working, and might have contributed to the flooding of Crystal Lakes and the Pike and Eel Marina. I also requested that FLAGs be represented on the RFCC. Thank you to St Neots FLAG - flood liaison action group and St Ives FLAG for challenging me so that I could challenge the EA. – at East, England
