![um fun fact: though it isnt really visible ismene's holding a copy of the bacchae of euripides the summary sounded ever so slightly like the bits and pieces i know about lyra's story with alora and her family with the whole "mortal family denying the young god's place of honor as a diety" so it seemed fitting i know the pages definetly won't be visible but i used these three for ismene's different sprites, one is the first page of the play for her default, one is a page with a lot of rage and death being mentioned for her angry sprite, and one has someone being proud for her happy sprite [three pages from bacchae of euripides attached] i was kind of being a classist larper when i was skimming through it so i dont know much deeper context 😅 i might read it for real one day](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HWIwBSQXsAAfJTA.jpg?name=orig)

ALT the shading's kinda based on umineko shading and like those vns with lots of blending and rendering in their sprites though i know umineko and many of those vns arent dating sims or anything i thought itd look cool YEAHH i thought id be good at replicating it in some way (though naturally danganronpa style and my own style bled through) so i went for it
ALT AH SORRY ONE MORE FUN FACT I REMEMBERED zeke and ismene both have that rose flower on their person thats meant to indicate they go to the same "school" in the doki doki dating sim thing AND AND zeke is only wearing one piercing in each ear probably cuz vn royalty school would be strict with things like that hes trying his best to rebel most likely but no one will ever know if it works or not 😔
