well , with so much "faith" in such "science" this book could be as well a " religious book " ( no way to test its claims , no way to experiment with its "contributions" to ... grokking reality ) . there are much more " hands-on " products .

There are moments when the fullness of the SatGuru’s unconditional love is experienced. But why doesn’t the mind keep that remembrance always? The mind is given Darshan, the divine is experienced fully. But one has to make efforts to retain that experience. It is like a flower, it can be forcibly opened from its closed state of a bud. But that would destroy the flower. It won’t blossom, it will wither. The SatGuru comes as the wise and loving sun. He shines brightly and allows the flower to wish for more warmth and light. So the flower is given a glimpse of His love, of His divine light. Then little darkness comes back because the bud of the mind is still completely closed. But because of that difference, the flower slightly wakes up, it wonders and looks around for what made it happy and comfortable just a few moments ago. Its tightly closed self opens itself because of its search. Like this, the SatGuru shines brighter and brighter, allowing the flower of the mind to wish for greater warmth and divine love. As He reveals more and more His true state of unconditional love, the mind also has to open more to hold that realization. If the mind doesn’t want it, it will close back again, towards darkness and forgetfulness. Then, life drops to feeling like a cycle of struggle. But one has asked for unconditional love to manifest itself within oneself. To see Bhagavan everywhere all the time. So the SatGuru awakens the self from within. He sits within the heart and gives endless love. As He shines brighter and brighter within the self, the self has to make itself a fully capable container of that grace. Otherwise, one will forget the very thing that one asked for so strongly.

They presented their entire mind to the true Guru so that they could receive transformation from their pain. (#partial of the discourse)
The SatGuru is the one with whom you can be yourself. Often people hide the most from Guru and God. They present their “best” self in front of the SatGuru and then, breathe a sigh of relief and go back to being however they want when they are not around him. But this is actually the opposite of what the Saints realized. They presented their entire mind to the true Guru so that they could receive transformation from their pain. Because the SatGuru is the only one who can transform all karma into pure divine love. If one hides from His eyes, then one robs oneself of the opportunity to receive Bhagavan’s company. Bhagavan’s endless presence is perceived when the psyche is fully cleaned and uplifted to His eternal realm. But people turn to others who are similar to them, to receive comfort, understanding, and acceptance. One may receive love from other people but they have their own life agenda, they are working on their own eternal path. So, if one wishes to receive eternal comfort, understanding, and acceptance, then one can only turn to the Eternal One. Bhagavan’s love is attained when one has surrendered and submerged oneself in the grace of the SatGuru. Because the SatGuru has only Bhagavan’s love in His heart and He shows how to walk on the path of Bhakti Yog. The highest, easiest, and quickest path to reach Sri Hari Vitthala.

Social media is designed to maximize one thing: engagement. The thing that drives engagement best is anger and fear – we simply cannot look away. What happens when the very technology that allows us to have large-scale public conversations and allows democracy to flourish turns us against each other?

One should not confuse love with attachment or obsession. Single-pointed love is not the same as being overly attached or obsessed. Love is freedom. It is joy and safety. Where the entire self feels alive, healthy, good. Feeling that inner joy and wellness is spirituality. Strive for that, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Attachments or obsessions make one feel smaller and smaller. Safety, health, and wellbeing start disappearing. The mind becomes fearful and starts seeing scarcity and darkness everywhere. It becomes afraid of losing what it has. But love can never be lost. One can never be far from it. Enlightenment, spirituality, these are states of being within the self. Don’t follow someone’s story of finding spirituality or enlightenment outside. The true SatGuru leads one to the inner Guru, to complete union with God within the heart. Anyone who disconnects you from your own inner world, your intuition, your gut feeling, the truth of your health, isn’t looking out for your wellbeing or spirituality. That would just be a game of power and control. Complete independence is complete union with God within the heart. To want complete independence of self is not wrong. That is the blooming of the atma, the true self. To realize oneself, one has to let go of the obsessions and fears of the mind. The SatGuru is within one’s own heart, a pure feeling of love, there is no external shackle or necessity on the spiritual path. Only that complete freedom and joy of feeling loved by God in every moment. This independence can then be infinite because the eternal friend is always with you. The friendship with Sri Hari Narayan within one’s heart is realized. This is single-pointed love towards Bhagavan. Not an obsession of the mind which makes one go into darkness, nor an attachment of the outside which becomes a shackle sooner or later. Love is complete freedom, don’t be afraid of anything.

Spiritual ego is far worse than regular ego of material things. The spiritual ego has two ways of punching others. First, one behaves horribly towards the world. And then one delivers the second worse punch, which is coating the entire bad behavior under the disguise of goodness, morality, or God’s will. Any time someone justifies their bad behavior by telling you that is how the “saints” behave. Or, “this is the way that one learns on the spiritual path.” Please know that they do not know what they are talking about at all. They are not behaving like spiritual people at all. It is pure negativity and ego. Nothing else. True spirituality starts on the inside, continuously purifies oneself on the inside, and blossoms outward as a beautiful flower in the peak of its bloom simply to give away everything without any conditions, without holding any beauty back. Don’t let anyone tell you that they have greater closeness with the SatGuru than you do. Don’t let anyone tell you that they understand or know Him so you must listen to them. Don’t let anyone tell you that they are allowed to behave differently from what the SatGuru is telling everyone to do publicly. Public and private Adesh never contradict one another. In fact, what is spoken publicly by the SatGuru for everyone is the basis of receiving any guidance from Him one-on-one. If one has not made and isn’t continuously making efforts to follow what is taught and given openly, then one will never understand any private conversation with or guidance from the SatGuru. It is so sad to see that people sometimes inflate their egos because they have spoken with the SatGuru about something when others were not there, and now they use that incident to not follow what He tells everyone to do. This kind of behavior has a terrible smell of ego that is most off-putting for God and Guru. Bhagavan runs far away from the slightest smell of this kind of manipulation. Simply because someone said that it is God’s will, does not make it so. God’s will always increases love. Increases freedom. Increases joy. Increases deep wisdom of seeing oneself and others as equal. Be very careful and analyze: are you following someone’s ego or are you following the SatGuru’s true teachings of love and humility.

I still see the Scratch “visual programming” environment positioned as an introductory path to programming for kids, but unlike game modding, I have never heard a “success story”, where someone credits their early experience with Scratch as key to a fulfilling career. Anyone?
