@dave1010 @bgallagh3r @philsturgeon It's about gamifying for people based on their actual code. The code itself doesn't care about a badge.

@AndreJaenisch We setup the maintenance page in anticipation of today's upgrades, and our server freaked before we began. It's like it knew!

@cmckni3 Badges are awarded as we pull data. Due to recent upgrades, updates should be more reliable. No badges lost/missed in the migration

Happy to report that our server has been migrated to the cloud, and seems to be running nicely. No more stressing about the box in the colo!
