shitposting just got way easier.
X ↔ Threads. one post, both platforms.
try it: yeet.shivamtaneja.com
Small Yeet update: it's now in the WXT showcase (the framework I built it with), and it just got listed on AlternativeTo.
Still free and open source. Post on X, it lands on Threads too.
Video and GIF support is next on my list.

back from office and opening the laptop again for my side project
the code isn't the hard part. it's starting again at 9pm when my brain already clocked out
builders with a day job, what actually gets you to open the laptop after work?
two weeks ago i built friction fixer for #neatHack
analytics can see people leaving your page. it still can't change the page
so i built an agent that edits the page, watches who shows up, and only keeps the change if more people stay
builders, what's the one thing you'd want it to fix on your site first?
terminal or desktop app for your ai coding agent?
i keep going back to the terminal because i can see exactly what it's running. but every time i try the desktop apps the diffs are way easier to review
what are you using and why?
😭😭 it's opensourced btw

judged a hackathon this month and the demos that stuck with me weren't the most complex ones
they were the ones where i got what it did in the first 30 seconds
if you're building for a hackathon soon, open your demo with the problem, not the tech stack
what's the best hackathon demo you've seen?
hot take: shipping fast was never the hard part of building an app
the hard part is getting your first 10 users, the bug report at 2am, and deciding what not to build
ai made the easy part easier. the hard part is still on you.
what's ur take?
two weeks ago at a hackathon i built friction fixer
an agent that edits your site, watches who shows up, and only keeps the change if more people stay
still figuring out where to take it next
what's a hackathon project you never stopped thinking about
I wrote a simple guide on posting to X and Threads at the same time for free.
Copy-paste, paid schedulers, or a small browser extension. What each one is good at, and the one I use now.

building yeet.shivamtaneja.com was the easy part. getting people to find it is the hard part
today i submitted it to alternativeto and saashub, and i've been replying to people who were asking for a way to post from x to threads
builders, what actually got you your first 100 users?
yeet.shivamtaneja.com has no server
it just hooks into the post button. you hit post on x and your own browser sends it to threads right away. no accounts, nothing to host, nothing to pay for
honestly the best feature was the one i didn't build
builders, what did you skip on purpose and never regret?
in the last two weeks i entered a hackathon, mentored at one, and judged one
didn't win the one i entered. judging was fun though, someone even gave me a handwritten note
if you've been on both sides, which one taught you more?
guys honestly i dont think im using gork bot to it's full potential.
someone give me v niche ideas of how they use it/want to use it.
