Husband of my kid's best elementary school teacher was just deported. Went in together for an immigration meeting, separated, she had no way to contact him or get him a lawyer, didn't hear from him for weeks until he was in his home country. All for a visa violation years ago.

I agree with that, and would like to see many more laws created besides. But you just said "I'm all for ICE agents pursuing illegal immigrants", which, prima facie, seems at odds with wanting to see the law changed.

Law enforcement agencies often have broad discretion and until the keys were handed to Stephen Miller, ICE did not actively seek to deport otherwise law-abiding immigrants. So, while not being an immigration expert, this seems untrue/unexamined.

I've mostly been working off laptop screens, so getting my 30" Dell setup has been great. It's almost too big, can't imagine a 52". There are cheap "under-desk" treadmills now, ~$150. Quality seems awful, but at that price could see whether the habit takes before upgrading.

what kind of treadmill? what kind of monitor/keyboard rig? It was time for me to get back to a proper desk rig so I setup my old Ergotron Workfit-S (ergotron.com/en-us/products/…) last week and spent some time yesterday stand-vibing. Treadmill with voice could be a game-changer.
