One of those books that change the meaning of reading to taming. You come at it eagerly, at first. Then drop it after a while. Back at it again a few weeks or months later. Same thing. You repeat till you eventually find your door in, and start feeling comfortable around it. I’m speaking from experience, and not just in general. I’ve had The Beginning Of Infinity as well as The Fabric Of Reality on my shelves for about 2 semesters now, and have already paid them my first visits. Taming in progress.

⏳⚖️ TIME AND DECISION: LIFE’S ULTIMATE TRADE-OFF ⏳ Time: a universal currency you can’t earn back. As the saying goes, time is money. But that's a half-truth at best, resulting from conceptual myopia where the focus on monetary equivalence limits a fuller appreciation of time as the essence of our finite existence. Every day lasts 24 hours, all created quantitatively equal, but some are “more equal” than others—depending on how you use them. Every moment we spend is drawn directly from the reservoir of our life expectancy, subtracted from the time we have left to live. Time isn’t just a resource: it is life with a… temporary ownership title on it. No matter how we spend it, it’s gone forever; it cannot be replaced or refilled. And if you're anything like me, you’ve felt the sting of wasted years—lost to poor decisions, endless distractions, or chasing the wrong goals. Indeed, I have wasted my fair share of precious time. But along the way, I discovered a truth that changed everything: Every decision is a trade-off, and time is the currency we use to pay for the price required. This realization shaped my mission, which is to help creators, entrepreneurs, and thinkers like you: ✅ Reclaim and master your time ✅ Make better decisions ✅ Build a meaningful life ⚖️ Decisions hold the cost of time We make hundreds of decisions every day. Each one leads us down a path—at the expense of others we didn’t take. Every path has a cost, and time is the currency of the price we pay for each we take. Of particular interest to content creators and every content consumer like myself is this: More than we might want to admit, we buy digital products only to realize that spending money on them is the easier part. We struggle to find the time to get the value they promise from those products. Some are quick to label that as procrastination or laziness. Those people fail to understand that behind the dollar price of a knowledge product, there is another price… which is quantified not in dollar amount but in time amount. The first price is for product access; the second is for unpacking its value. The time price is often the most expensive and, contrary to what people may think, it will increasingly become a limiting factor for a growing number of prospective customers. Note that, contrary to the dollar price, the value of the time price depends entirely on the buyer and their circumstances. The irony? The easier it feels to pay the dollar price, the harder it will feel to pay the time price (well... yes, you might one day call that Mawaki's Law.) The scarcity of time will win over that of money. As you can see, time is the most precious currency we trade daily. Now, if you can’t reclaim lost time, you can at least stop the hemorrhage. And the sooner, the better. I am here to inform you that this is feasible and to provide a roadmap using my Time-Mind Loop Framework, which I also like calling “Time in the 3C Triangle”. 🎨 CREATIVITY: YOUR SECRET WEAPON Time is the universal currency you own. Decisions are your leverage. But creativity is your superpower. Over the years, writing has been my way of sparking ideas, solving problems, contributing to building stuff and creating value. “In the beginning was the Word,” you know… As far as we humans are concerned, we certainly can content ourselves with speaking words, but if you want to use them to help you build something scalable, you will need to write them down as a start. My writings have impacted readerships from different audiences of pros, earning me accolades through verbal nods and comments like, "You’re right on the money!" or “You should pitch something to [...] for an op-ed” (fill in the blank with the name of a major US-based newspaper.) And by the way, several members of my PhD dissertation defense committee were not left out, who insisted that I publish a book based on my work. Design is my other creative muscle. I see patterns others miss—in words, visuals, or systems—and help craft effective ones, whether meant to exhibit complementarity and harmony or to disrupt through asymmetries and irregularities. But creativity isn’t just talent or art; it’s the engine of meaningful work and value. After decades of academic pursuits and a consultancy career in Internet governance and public policy for digital transformation, I have decided to take the leap and fully embrace my creativity to build a lifestyle business with purpose and lead a more meaningful life. I have been saying the same thing, responding to (and correcting) the old saying whereby: Time is money. No, it’s not. It’s more than that. Time is life. There’s nothing you can do unless you’re alive. And you have life (are alive) for as much time as you still have to live.
