Vandaag sluit ik het hoofdstuk ziekenkas af en kom ik bij de RVA terecht. Nog een 3 tal maanden tot mijn opleiding erop zit en dan weer gaan werken. Ik kan niet wachten!
Al kan ik na 8 mri’s en 3 hersenscans wel zeggen dat ik eindelijk positief nieuws heb, ze hebben niets nieuws gevonden!
2 jaar na diagnose van mijn ziekte en wat heb ik geleerd? Dat elke dag een beetje anders opstaan is! Om het positieve er wat in te zien, het brengt wat evenwicht in het leven. Beetje slechter, beetje beter.

2 years ago I was watching a 13 year old Danish kid play a pug, as a type of "live coaching" I was testing. The things I heard said to him surpassed anything said to me in my career playing CSGO/2. But he felt this was the "norm" and didn't even feel like reporting them would help. I took it upon myself after the session to reach out to some people at FACEIT to get it taken care of, but this player literally received a 1 week ban.
The things people get away with on FACEIT, and yes a 1 week ban is "getting away with it", is truly remarkable and needs to be changed. I know the world of esports is filled with this, but a small, niche, private platform like FACEIT should be able to realize these issues and help players feel welcomed. The punishment needs to go up, and the report/review system needs to be made better.
The amount of disgusting people on faceit is beyond me, just listened to a few of my fiance's teammates. Starting from boosted, to kitchen jokes, to whore and all they way to r*pe threats.
These fucking sub-humans should get a seperate queue. Grinding solo faceit is fucking miserable as a female, can't believe so many people stoop as low as this and it's normalised.
