Exactly, problem solving is one of the skills children learn through coding. They learn how to break a problem down and work out its solution. A very important skill to take forward in their lives.
It’s also creative and an incredibly satisfying thing to do as well.
I’ve watched thousands of kids run their first piece of code and saw the delight in their faces, which immediately starts their imagination on what they can do next. That’s the moment where countless future engineers are born.
Maybe AI prompting will also be a part of that, but the core skills are more important.
