Watching Clayton Kershaw throw out a ceremonial first pitch feels so damn weird

Congrats to the Toronto Blue Jays for winning the right to lose the World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Gee, let’s see. Michael Conforto in left and Teoscar Hernandez in right while the six-time Gold Glove right fielder plays short. It’s complicated, I know.

Ohtani to the pen would help. They don’t need him to start. They don’t need a six-man rotation. They need reliable relief. But whatever.
Padres ended up losing this series. Great leadership. #LFGDodgers

The Dodgers Mookie-to-shortstop decision set off a chain reaction, which resulted in the silly idea to play Teoscar in RF full-time, the awful Conforto signing & the failure to sign or trade for a shortstop. A quadruple whammy. Betts didn’t suddenly forget how to hit between age 31 & 32. He kicked his own ass trying to make a position switch from right to short WHICH NEVER HAPPENS!

It’s funny because I know a lot of people wanted Ryan Helsley, but if you squint I think Stewart might actually give you the same production just from a lower profile name (he has been better in 2025!).
So if you’d be happy swapping those names, maybe just be happy?

Canceling the 3A/4A 3rd place games is a slap in the face to seniors who earned that stage. No final game. No closure. No accountability. No parents to watch their fianl game. This isn’t how you honor student-athletes. @wiaawa @thenewstribune @tntpreps

Need to figure this out. 22-22 over the last 44 is unacceptable. There really is no excuses w this roster. Need to be better

Absolute joke. This franchise has forgotten that winning championships is the goal.
