We are literally doomed
American High School English Teacher reads real responses from her student’s assignment after reading The Great Gatsby
We have a serious education issue in America and if we don’t address it, we have a horrible future ahead of us
These kind of responses are to be expected because 12th grade reading results in 2024 in America showed that reading levels right now the lowest they’ve ever been since the assessment began in 1992

Thankful everyone is okay but Functional gave a scare in R2 at Keeneland.
He successfully jumped the temporary railing only to get back in the flow of the race to finish fifth. Great job by Bejarano to stay on.

@JayOringer and his wonderful colleagues (we see you @coloneljen) are doing the Lord’s work… please share and donate to support Maddie Ten (and others) if you are able. 🙏🏻
This is Maddie Ten - This was our foundation most heartbreaking story. Luckily she has been on my watch list and after she didn’t sell in the digital sale. I got many people involved to get her. She was in bad shape in bad conditions- She is going on the van here to a farm for rehab. She was scared but she loaded - Go to our website Diamondracehorseaftercare.or… to donate and help Maddie

Ellen Burstyn says it's "a miracle of some kind" that's she's still acting at 93 years old.
“When I was in my 30s and I thought about how long my career would last, I was sure I’d be finished by 40. I didn’t think it would go on much longer than that. The fact that I’m 93 and still working is a miracle of some kind that I’ve attracted into my life. I’m totally amazed, and at the same time, deeply grateful.”
