Continuing our diplomatic engagements ahead of #CHOGM26 CEO @AriehMiller had a warm and engaging meeting with the High Commissioner of Fiji His Excellency Jovilisi Suveinakama. @fiji_high @FijiHC_London In the meeting they discussed the Jewish community of Fiji, the impact of environmental challenges on the Pacific region, and each other's priorities ahead of #CHOGM26 and COP31.
Ahead of #CHOGM2026 in Antigua and Barbuda, CJC CEO @ariehmiller met @FCDOGovUK the FCDO’s Commonwealth desk to discuss the UK delegation’s plans for the summit. The size of the UK delegation shows how much weight the government places on these meetings. CJC has worked closely with High Commissions, governments and fellow accredited organisations to make sure leaders hear from civil society, faith groups and minorities, and understand the specific issues facing Jewish communities.
Clive Lawton OBE JP, CJC’s Executive Chair, meets Hon Rolston Anglin MP, the very inspiring Minister for Education and Finance for the Cayman Islands, together with Rabbi Berel Pewzner, leader of the lovely little Grand Cayman Jewish community and CJC Co-Vice President for the Cayman Islands. @caymangovt @CIGOUK
CJC CEO @ariehmiller met the Honourable Bill Blair, Canada’s High Commissioner to the UK. Mr Blair showed real knowledge of the Canadian Jewish community and a clear grasp of the pressures it faces, and he spoke with conviction about community safety and social cohesion. We look forward to continuing a warm and lasting friendship with Canada House. @CanadianUK @UKinCanada

This week CJC CEO @ariehmiller met representatives from Tuvalu, Uganda, New Zealand and Rwanda. Arieh introduced each High Commission to the Jewish communities of the Commonwealth, their growth and achievements, and the challenges they face at home and globally. Alongside our support for the communities themselves, CJC builds relationships with political and civic leaders at local, national and international level. Meetings like these sit at the heart of that work. @UKinUganda @UGHighCommLDN @UKinRwanda @RwandaInUK @NZinUK @UKinNZ
