Massive rebellions have been raging across Europe, and racists like JD Vance want to spin lies that these are because European countries have "imported" too many refugees and immigrants. That's bullshit.
Workers and youth in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and beyond are rebelling against the same declining standard of living we see here in the U.S. - schools are under-funded, housing is unaffordable, social services are being gutted, and people can see that the capitalist system we live under fundamentally can't address our basic needs.
These lies by people like JD Vance and Donald Trump reveal something about our ruling class though: they can see the writing on the wall, and are very afraid of what might happen if the people of the U.S. looked at the situation in Europe and started getting ideas of our own.

Seeing infighting on twitter makes me glad I’m apart of an org where I can proudly exclaim “self-determination for the Black Belt South!” and every white comrade, whether we’ve met or not, will proudly exclaim the exact same thing!

On September 9th, 1976, the great Marxist-Leninist revolutionary leader Mao Zedong died at the age of 82. Mao made immeasurable contributions to the cause of liberating the Chinese people from feudalism, foreign occupation, and capitalism. Across the globe and across the decades, from Palestine, to Korea, to Africa, to Latin America, revolutionaries have looked to the writings and experience of Mao Zedong and the Chinese revolution for guidance in confronting their particular struggles, and so do we.
His writings on philosophy and methods of leadership such as The Mass Line are indispensable tools for party-building, and represent key theoretical contributions to the science of making revolution.
It was Mao who once said that "to die for the people is weightier than Mount Tai," and certainly this is true of the man himself, who strove to serve the people in all that he did. On the anniversary of his death, we join in honoring Mao's legacy alongside all who fight to build a better world free from exploitation and oppression.

From big cites like Houston, to small towns in Minnesota, people are rebelling against Flock cameras and other AI-powered Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) systems, taking matters into their own hands to take them down.
ALPRs like Flock have already been used to target immigrants, as well as women who travelled out of state for access to legal abortion services. People are right to see that there is something fundamentally wrong with our country's ruling class, and there's no way they should be trusted with tools like Flock.
i really think the only reason transphobia is so common in "left" circles is because people think just because lenin and mao and marx didnt write about it then they have the freedom to throw science out the window and let their bigotry flag fly

On this day in 1953, a young Fidel Castro and a group of fellow revolutionaries led a daring attack on the Moncada Barracks; though the attack was defeated, it was this historic operation that would forge the July 26th Movement and unleash the cascade of rebellion that eventually toppled the U.S.-backed Batista dictatorship and freed the Cuban people.
As the United States continues to impose severe sanctions, a blockade, and renews direct military threats against Cuba, it's as important as ever for people here in the belly of the beast to land blows against our common enemy: the U.S. imperialists.
Socialist Cuba is a beacon of hope for all working and oppressed people, and today we salute their many decades of heroic resistance.
Long live socialist Cuba! ¡Hasta la victoria siempre!

Since the days of the Panthers... Black Americans STILL demand community control of the police.
Community control of the police means taking away their power to rampage through Black communities with impunity; if the police kill our neighbors, like they did to Corey Ruiz in Madison this week, they need to face justice. But until we have community control, the only way that will happen is if the people mobilize and FIGHT BACK against these killer cops.
Justice for Corey! No justice, no peace!

Solidarity is not a crime! FRSO statement on the arrest and extradition of Fergie Chambers
Full Statement: frso.org/statements/solidari…
The Freedom Road Socialist Organization condemns the unjust arrest and the U.S. Department of Justice’s extradition attempt of Fergie Chambers, a progressive philanthropist and steadfast supporter of the Palestinian cause. He was dragged away from his family in Spain on dubious charges ranging from money laundering to material support for terrorism. If extradited to the U.S., he could be facing decades in prison.
Chambers is a son of billionaires who made the legitimate choice long ago to direct his funds towards progress, from free medical clinics to legal defense for activists facing repression. Now, the Trump DOJ is fabricating a narrative of terrorist financing. They want to create an upside-down world and twist the legal system so that humanitarian aid and solidarity land you behind bars, but the architects of the ongoing genocide in Gaza walk free. Ultimately, they want to use every avenue to squash and punish the tidal wave of support for the cause of Palestinian liberation that has stretched to every corner of the globe.
We are in a period of intensifying repression, and the imperialists are constantly in search of new ways to crush resistance and silence opposition. And that means that people like Chambers who use their resources to amplify the voices that call for freedom and liberation become targets, too. All those who oppose the Trump administration’s crackdown on our movements and the erosion of democratic rights need to stand against this. Solidarity is not a crime!

I want to address a few lies here.
Jayda was never expelled from FRSO. She left because she disagreed with us moving forward on ECPS. She was later removed from leadership of CAARPR because she tried to organize against the decision we collectively made after she was outvoted.

That open meeting is called a congress, and it gets held at regular intervals. If every line struggle required we drop everything to facilitate an org-wide discussion, nothing would get done. That’s the point of DC. If you can’t adhere to that discipline, the org isn’t for you.
This is why you don’t use bureaucratic measures such as expulsion to resolve line struggle. comrades pour their whole lives into these things and when you throw them out, tragic stuff like this happens. Democratic centralism with no democracy is a cult. If comrades express severe misgivings about a line or a coalition partner, an open meeting should be held, views should be collected and disseminated, and a decision should be made after seriously considering their views. Expulsion should be the last result for incorrigible political differences or clear, evidenced, thoroughly investigated cases of bad behavior that has tangibly and materially harmed the Party and the masses.

We've carried the rich for 250 years—let's get them off our backs!
For all two-and-a-half centuries of the United States' existence—and for almost three centuries before its founding—the people who reside on these lands have been brutalized and exploited by an oppressive ruling class; first by the colonialists and early capitalists, and later by the monopoly capitalists (also known as imperialists).
This tiny and insignificant group of parasites who sit at the top of our political system are responsible for all the darkest periods and truly evil deeds perpetrated by this country, from the mass murder and forced displacement of indigenous peoples, to the barbaric system of chattel slavery, to the bloody coups and invasions of foreign nations, to the immiseration of the multi-national U.S. working class up until this very day. It's plain to see that capitalism—the system at the heart of this country—is rotten to the core and needs to be replaced.
We want a country that runs not on the basis of the exploitation of the many by the few, but by putting power in the hands of the very people who produce our wealth, the working class and the oppressed. That system we need is socialism, and revolution is the path forward.

The CSFR condemns the second subpoena of Topete delivered on July 1 and will fight any attempt to jail her.
On Monday July 6, we call upon our supporters to dial the office of Assistant US Attorney Michael Wheat and demand, Hands Off Nadia Topete! @CentroCSO @LegalizeForAll
justice for nadia topete! fuck the fbi!
Grand juries are a trap: you don’t get a lawyer in the room; you can’t bring witnesses. You are not allowed to present a defense, and the prosecutor controls the entire narrative. They are a tool designed to force people to implicate others with the penalty of jail. People who resist grand juries and FBI repression are heroes.
Nadia Topete did nothing wrong. The trump administration wants to snuff out the resistance to ICE and scare activists into submission. frso.org/statements/stand-wi…
So proud to be a member of FRSO! We’ve just successfully held our 10th Congress where we analyzed our conditions and made plans to build a new communist party. The time ahead will be filled with struggle, and I know FRSO will be on the front lines
