The Android TV backdoor went far beyond ad fraud.
Google says operators used it to capture screenshots, record keystrokes, extract account details, and open remote shells.
It also disabled Google Play Protect to silently install malware.
And it was built into the firmware.

Google says the company deliberately built a backdoor into its devices and sold access to criminals.
The control servers are down. The backdoor is still there.

🚨 Three new Cisco SD-WAN flaws just scored 9.9.
Cisco also patched a 9.8 IOS XE command injection bug. A separate IMC flaw with public PoC could let a low-privilege attacker gain root on a controller that can influence BIOS and Secure Boot.
