McEacheran F/C Summer Edwards was on campus at UNC Asheville today. Edwards was a standout at the @hbcuelite100 camp a couple weeks ago and has seen a spike in her recruitment.

Summer Edward showed why she’s drawing D-I and D-II interest. A strong, physical interior presence, Edward used her size, footwork, and positioning to carve out space and create high-percentage looks around the basket. She displayed a soft touch as a finisher and showed added offensive value with the ability to comfortably knock down the elbow jumper. Her combination of strength, touch, and interior scoring translates well to the next level. @hbcuelite100

Savannah Aparicio was one of the longer, more versatile prospects in attendance. She played inside-out, rebounded and pushed in transition, and showed three-level scoring ability. Her ability to create for others added another layer to her game. The combination of length, skill, and versatility drew interest and makes her a 2027 prospect to track. @hbcuelite100 @SavAparicio_27

Janai Wilder showed flashes all day. She used her length to defend, showed she could get out in transition and finish. Using either hand was not a problem for her being able to use her footwork to finish around bigger defenders. @hbcuelite100

Jade Kitchens was one of the stronger players at camp. She played physical but showed her handle and passing ability along with a smooth stroke from 15 feet and in. She was able to guard all 5 positions throughout the day and that had coaches interested. @hbcuelite100 @iiamjadek

Laila Paul is small but plays hard. She showed a knack for getting into the paint and scoring, defended very well for her size and staying vocal throughout the drills and games. @hbcuelite100 @Laihoops4

Jazmyn Bridges was another do it all player during camp. She was able to rebound at a high clip, push the tempo, make plays for others and attack the rim playing off two feet. Her mid range game was on display from either side of the court. Finished with either hand at the rim. @hbcuelite100 @JazmynBridges27

SaaNala Cameron can shoot the basketball and defend with the best of them. She picked up full court in camp and made it hard for some guards to run their offense and when her shot started to fall it was a sight to see. She has gained major confidence since the end of season. @hbcuelite100

Tamia Tomlinson played the game the RIGHT WAY all day. She made the right pass, took the right shots, boxed out, ran the lane, played tough defense and communicated at a high level. Her energy was high all day and it showed. @hbcuelite100

Elyse Norris was the best PG in the building all day. Coming from Memphis she had that flair and flash in her game but it was controlled and she played with the team. Made sure to get everyone going before she attached the paint and the long ball was falling with a sweet release. @hbcuelite100 @Elyse_norris8

De’jah Webb is as tough as they come. She played physical and strong all day. Handled the ball well, hit open shots but her calling card was defensive and she took it personal any match up she had. Big season ahead for this young lady. @hbcuelite100 @DWebb2028

Amira Layne was the surprise of the day. She came in and performed like she was there to earn something. Shot the ball at a high clip, handled pressure and showed she could run a team as well. Would be a solid pick up for a college out of the 2027 class at either guard spot. @hbcuelite100 @Amira_for_3

Kaleb Johnson is a physical power forward who brings size, rebounding, and a defensive presence. His length and wingspan allow him to alter shots around the rim, while his ability to run the floor makes him an easy target in transition. Offensively, he’s showing growth as a face-up scorer and adds value with his unselfishness and passing instincts. He sees cutters well and is willing to make the extra pass. @KJohnson_04 @hbcuelite100 @valdostaHighmbb

Shawn Evans has developed into a legitimate three-level scorer while adding playmaking to his arsenal. He’s quick and elusive attacking the paint, creates well off the bounce, and can make plays for others. Defensively, he’s a high-level perimeter defender who can pressure opposing guards. @shawne2027 @hbcuelite100 @valdostaHighmbb

Ronald Lewis @TreyLew_ was tough to handle all day. His ability to get any shot he wanted with a high release on his jump shot was on full display. Finished strong at the basket and showed a college level change of pace along with making the right play each time down the floor. @hbcuelite100

Louis Evans ll was a pure point guard at camp. He controlled the tempo, knew when to attack and pull back and set the team up. Shot the ball very well all day and lacked no confidence getting into the paint and making plays for others. Defensively he was solid. @hbcuelite100

Cam Gaines @caamfamm was another player that shot the ball at a high clip during camp. He has a decent stroke and showed he could put it on the floor and get to the midrange and basket when the opportunity presented itself. Played stringer then he actually looked. @hbcuelite100
