We were so excited to see the vote today in the house! An overwhelming majority (68-3) supporting HB240 was a great reminder of the positive leadership we can see in Utah. However, the fight isn’t over. Keep contacting your legislators and let them know you care about Utah Lake!
Thanks #utleg for your definitive message on Utah Lake!
@KevenStratton's bill passed 68 to 3, requiring legislative oversight, fiscal responsibility, and a fair and constitutional process for all lake projects. The lake can sleep a bit easier tonight. le.utah.gov/~2022/bills/stat…

I was feeling so worn down yesterday, but then I received a packet of letters from some elementary school kids. It brought tears to my eyes and reminded me why we are fighting for #UtahLake. Thanks to all of you who are working to defend the lake and free speech. #utpol

Wow, what a night! With almost 600 people in attendance we felt the support of our community as we work to protect and preserve Utah Lake.
Last night was a amazing, but remember this is just the start. Let’s keep up the momentum by contacting your legislators!
Please write your legislators and ask them to oppose the Utah Lake Authority Bill (HB232) and support the Utah Lake Amendments Bill (HB 240)
