You started a company to build something. Then the questions started. "How do I import?" "Is there an app?" Meet Ask My Chatty: a front desk for your website and your app. It answers from your own pages, hands you anything it shouldn't guess, and learns what it missed.

5 lessons from DMing people—something I never thought I’d be comfortable doing. I wasn’t trying to sell. I was asking for honest feedback and advice, without making it cringey. First, why I normally avoid it. Then what I learned 🧵

Lesson 5 — Give people room One person wanted a few days to test properly. Others haven’t replied. I don’t know why, and I’m not going to invent a reason—or turn my request into something they owe me.

Would I do it again? Probably, yeah. We say we’re here to help each other. If someone asked me honestly and I could help, I’d happily return the favour. It’s awkward asking someone you don’t really know. But I learn by trying. A no is fine. I’m asking, not pushing.

5 things that keep me shipping after a full-time job: 1. Three tasks on paper. Finish two. 2. Ship the small version first. 3. Let AI do the heavy lifting. 4. Protect your sleep. Tired code costs more than it saves. 5. Build in public. It keeps you honest. This week those five got DiskSense out the door. Which one do you need most? #buildinpublic #productivity #solofounder

DiskSense 1.1.0 is out. Hide any folder from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI apps with one click. Key and password files are hidden by default. It’s checked inside DiskSense on every answer, and your files are never read.

Windows: "this app is 3.1 GB" The app's data + cache in AppData and ProgramData: another 55 GB. DiskSense adds it all up, so you see what each app really costs you.

What if you could just ask your PC? "Which are my largest files?" "What grew this week?" "Where did brand-film-v7 go?" DiskSense has a built-in MCP server, so the AI apps you already use can answer questions about your drives. Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and Gemini CLI. You switch it on per app. Privacy: it only shares names, sizes and dates. Never what's inside your files. #ai #claude #mcp #windows

No team. No budget. No problem. I build apps after my day job, on my own. Designer, copywriter, developer, tester, video editor, marketer: it's me + AI. This video was made with AI too. AI doesn't make the decisions. I still choose what to build, what to cut, and what's good enough to ship. But one person can now produce what used to take a whole team. #ai #buildinpublic #solofounder

This week it shipped DiskSense, a Windows app that shows why your drive is full:

9 to 5 at the day job. 20:00, shift two: building my own apps. That's how DiskSense got built, one evening at a time. 4 days until it goes live on Product Hunt.

Every side project ever: - the core feature: one weekend - the landing page: two weekends - payments: don't ask - emailing: WTF - the first real user: still loading...

New buzzword this week: "harness engineering." Before that it was "context engineering." Before that "prompt engineering." At this rate I'll be a "vibe architect" by Christmas 😂
