¡Hola! Estoy desarrollando CorTeX, una alternativa a Prism. ¿Te animarías a probarlo? La compilación tarda menos de 0,05 segundos y también permite editar documentos en Typst y Markdown. Perdón si esto suena a spam. ¡Muchas gracias!

CorTeX now supports multiple monitors. Use the entire screen of your second monitor to preview your PDF.

Looking for an alternative to OpenAI’s Prism? Try cortex.corca.ai - it’s feature complete, compiles > 0.05 s, and supports markdown and typst as well.
Open a Markdown file and share it in a sec for collaborative editing.
1. Open cortex.corca.ai/try/md
2. A blank doc opens, and the URL changes.
3. Copy the URL and share. Anyone with the URL can edit.
4. The doc is kept for 24 h after its last edit. Log in to make it permanent.

One week later, Pele is already in dozens of apps including @obsdmd 1.15 and @bot! Many improvements this week:
- Even faster rendering!
- Math resolver support: KaTeX, MathJax, Temml, etc
- Gradients in sankey diagrams
- Fewer edge crossings in diagrams with subgraphs
- Subscript, superscript and inline code in labels + text styles: kbd, underline, ins, cite and others
On a personal note, I am so grateful for all the love Pele received! I truly did not expect it.
My hope with Pele was to get a few bug reports ahead of the Obsidian release, so it's a wonderful feeling to see it adopted so quickly. I take this as a great honor and responsibility.
If you added Pele to your app or website, feel free to share it below 🌋
There's an optimizer side to this too.
Even exact zero-sum gradients can give Adam updates that aren't zero-sum. In our NeurIPS 2026 paper, we project LM-head and router updates to remove shared logit shifts.
Curious to try both fixes together.

OpenAI's LaTeX editor Prism is shutting down on January 1, 2027. Here's a far better alternative with near-real-time compilation (< 0.05 s), a high-fidelity WYSIWYG editor, Typst support, a Zotero-like library management system, and more: cortex.corca.ai

Fixing numerical precision problem in softmax.

Hi all, I have a new result I'm excited to share. It turns out that *all existing implementations* of softmax and cross-entropy (that's JAX, PyTorch, textbooks, etc) have a subtle bug --- two bugs, actually. A simple rewrite fixes both, and eliminates "slingshots" when grokking:
Editing Markdown tables should be as easy as editing Excel spreadsheets. Here's the version I'm working on.

CorTeX now supports Typst, with real-time collaboration, LSP support, a WYSIWYG editor, GitHub integration, and more.
You can use the Typst editor here — no login is required (omg, did I just use an em dash?): cortex.corca.ai/try/typst.ty…
