In 2010, the former features editor of the Las Vegas Review-Journal rejected my pitch for a Vegas myth-busting column because he claimed I wouldn't find enough myths to sustain it.
After more than 200 weekly editions of what Larry David would call a "spite column," I'm only now getting to this one...
