🌽 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗡 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 | 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 August storms in East-Central Indiana caused flooding and wind damage, with water above corn ears in some areas. Dr. Dan Quinn observed multiple ear rots and premature kernel sprouting (vivipary) in submerged ears.

🌽 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗡 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 Introducing Dr. Osler Ortez. His experience spans coffee in Nicaragua, soybeans in Kansas and Argentina, and corn in Nebraska and the U.S. Midwest. His current work focuses on corn and emerging crops.
