We open sourced Akash from day one because we want people to improve the network. If we're not doing a good job, I want the community to create better versions of Akash. That's the spirit of open source.
But when you use our code, we expect attribution. It is not only required as per Apache 2.0 license terms but a decent thing to do.
The goal is a decentralized cloud so that all of us benefit.
We will reach out to this company privately and give them the opportunity to do the right thing.
I will expose them if they don't comply.
There is a project that stole Akash's code and is launching a token to compete with Akash. Also, this is their 2nd token launch as first one failed miserably.
A part of me wants to expose them, but another says to restrain and let fate decide.
Should I expose them and risk giving them attention?
85%Yes, warn public
15%No, let them scam

Because this technology has the opportunity to create equitable & fair markets that are biased towards end users.
I believe in privacy, sovereignty, and permissionless access to financial tools.
Because crypto is empowerment if we build it & evangelize it correctly.

⚠️We're already unjailed, the 5% for the slash was returned to all delegators successfully. Only one thing is pending, the last 10 days rewards, we're working on it.

Massive respect for the professionalism and transparency of @cosorg response to the @SecretNetwork chain halt and subsequent jailing incident.
$SCRT
We are currently out of the set and jailed due to this. 🔒
Our delegators will be compensated for the 5% slashing and in addition will also get APR compensation for 9 days - from now until the next network upgrade.

Please note: the Secret chain is currently halted and the ecosystem is investigating the error.
Validators and core devs expect a few hours of downtime while the issue is identified and the chain is restarted.
Any tx's attempted will not succeed, so please be patient!
