A project I’ve been working on with @cotoursal just hit 1,000 concurrent players! I’m incredibly grateful for this success and can’t wait to release more content for this game! 🥳 #Roblox #RobloxDev

we hit 1k CCU, our highest CCU of the year! 🥹 i’m so proud of me and @noMarsHere for scripting our biggest update of the year. we went through so much behind the scenes, so this means a lot. i love seeing all of our hard work finally paying off with this update. ❤️

to place a commission with a developer and not get any response for weeks about finishing my work, just to find out you’re active on twitter and completing other people’s commissions, is frustrating. why do we have to go through all of this for work we already paid you to do?

For several years, Roblox required users without a Builders Club membership to watch a commercial before they could play a game. This requirement could easily be bypassed using a browser extension or ad blocker. The feature has since been removed.

Back in 2007 or 2008 I won a contest, the prize of which was free lifetime OBC. So...I only get a 1 month trial of their new program instead of lifetime? Pretty disappointing.

Am I the only one that actually REALLY agrees with this update? I feel like $5 a month is nothing compared to what other platform upload fees are. Also, this is extremely beneficial to online safety. I’m not saying this would fully stop it, but it definitely will greatly decrease the amount of these perverted con/club games weirdos post on Roblox. I fully understand not everyone is able to afford the $5 a month fee, especially young creators who have no income… I see that perspective. However, overall I think this is the best thing Roblox could do to keep the platform safe 👀

From 2011 to 2016, Roblox had a feature called Personal Servers that worked very differently from today’s private servers. Users could join, build together, and even be assigned roles like visitor, member, or admin with different permissions. -🧵

I figured this was going to happen soon, So I made a list of og clothing artists from 2007 - 2018 [ 🧵]
ray (@r4y319) profile pictureray@r4y319Mar 6
Publishing 2D clothing on Roblox now requires an active Premium 1000 or 2200 subscription to sell items or keep them on sale. This means that 2D clothing from inactive creators like 1blox, Tophthetomboy, etc. will soon go off-sale.

family reactions to monthly Roblox earnings: > $100: "you need a job" > $500: "you need a job" > $1k: "yeah, but you need a job" > $2k: "yeah, but a job earns more" > $3k: "okay, do what you want" > $5k: "what exactly do you do?" > $10k: "are you sure this is stable?" > $100k: "you were always a smart kid" #Roblox #RobloxDev
